How long did it take for you to become a Posh Ambassador?

@lizzzie26 In my case, I became an ambassador about a few days to a week after the program was introduced. This was probably due to my closet having most of the requirements fulfilled already.

@laurachavarry Do you find you are able to sell a lot of things on here? I've sold one thing but no luck since! Any advice?

@lizzzie26 To be honest, sales have been difficult. I know a lot of other posh ambassadors have had a decline in sales, and no one knows why. Maybe it’s due to the app algorithms or more people signing up & opening closets. However, I did sell 3 items in these last 2 months, after 6 months of not selling anything. In this business, you have to adapt to the ever-changing app and the new features that come with it. You just have to power through the tough times and hope that your items will sell.

@lizzzie26 Advice: I prefer to keep my closet organized by category, kind of like a department store. I made signs for each category & sorted the items, so that when someone wants to find something, they can scroll through my closet (or look at the directory) & find what they need. This is a way to make your closet look aesthetically pleasing & also make it simpler to find items. Also, any important notices, like sales or offers, are always at the top of my closet, so everyone can see it. (1/4)

@lizzzie26 Advice: One of the things I’ve done recently is followed more people. It may seem simple at first, but more followers = bigger audience. And if you have a bigger audience, it may translate to more sales. What I do is go to people’s closets and tap on their followers/following categories. I then follow everyone on that list. People follow back, & sometimes share my items to their followers. Also, do this when they have celebrity pop up closets, most followers there are active. (2/4)

@lizzzie26 Advice: Pictures are important. Now, I do know that some poshers are on a budget. While some can afford to buy a mannequin, studio lighting, and all those extra items, not everyone can. Focus on good lighting and HD pictures of the item, and if you don’t have a white backdrop, you can edit out the background using an app called MagicEraser. Also, try to look for stock photos of the item, if there are any. (3/4)

@lizzzie26 Advice: Sharing is a priority. I always try to share as many items as possible, whether it may be from my closet or from others. By sharing items to parties, followers, or individual poshers, I increase attention to my items & attract possible buyers. If you share to a party & get a host pick, it’s also a great way to gain more likes/buyers. (4/4)

@lizzzie26 Finally, here are a list of apps that may be useful in taking pictures/editing photos.
- Phonto (to put text on pictures)
- PicsArt (photo editing)
- MagicEraser (to remove background from photos)
- Pic Stitch (to make a photo collage of the item)
- Square Fit ( to make sure photos are square)
And that’s pretty much it!
