This specific style is no longer sold by IOAN, which breaks my heart. It was my favourite. I loved climbing the ladders to bring these down to show everyone. This is the Alpaca Fisherman sweater, and it’s a soft, bulky undyed alpaca fiber knit. This sweater was my closest companion for four winters, and considering the amount of wear it’s experienced, its condition is beyond incredible. I’m only parting with this because I reached for it a little less this past winter. It has minimal signs of aging, primarily the typical wear and tear with natural knitted garments —very slight pilling, or some funny stitches here and there.
