@juicycouture89 for some reason I can't copy the link but I'm already thinking the seller name of shop_japan would be a knock off or inspired

It's a beautiful bag. And I like the size of the 35. That seller is a reputable seller out of Japan it's an authentic bag @juicycouture89

I'm from hawaii and the Yen is worth more. They shop lots for high end items in Honolulu. If the bag was from China or Korea I would be more skeptical

juicycouture89
@chiefhawaii then why is the interior white looking?:(
Aug 25Reply

juicycouture89
I looked at other bags of this and they were more orange brown
Aug 25Reply

chiefhawaii
@juicycouture89 it might be the camera flash. I'm positive of its authenticity

You have helped me so much. Do you know how to tell how old this bag is by the serial number? And are interiors always orange-brown or can they be beige? This is my first bag lol:(
Aug 25Reply

chiefhawaii
The serial number may be embossed on the leather handle tabs inside the bag

@juicycouture89 one way you can tell fast with a LV is that LV NEVER cuts the LV sig off. By that I lean look at where the top, sides, bottom seams of the bag if the LV has been cut midway or partial that's a easy to spot red flag.

@lostgirl that's not necessarily true, if you compare it to the one pictured on the LV site, the LV logo is cut off on the sides at the top. If its really cut off, or if the logo isn't centered, then that's a red flag.

@juicycouture89 usually those sellers from Japan are legit, but you gotta look out for quality. The leather tends to deteriorate because of the humidity in Japan. I bought a speedy 35 from a seller in Japan and its in wonderful condition.

@hartlove I'm just going by LV what they explained on how to notice it. I go to see in laws in Korea and you have to be careful what you buy there. Just trying to help.

@lostgirl I know, and it usually does apply. A good rule of thumb is to compare it to the one pictured on the LV website. It's the ones that are discontinued (and vintage!) that you need to be extra careful about!
