Extra photos to better show calf and color - 1st Photo: dark brown boots shown with a black purse and pure blue jeans. 2nd Photo: a little over 1 inch between leg and boot. My calf is 13.5 over my jeans. 3rd Photo: stretchy elastic at top of boots on the inside seams. 4th Photo: inside of the elastic section - good half inch of elastic between outer leather and boot lining on either side of the section, a good cobbler should be able to expand this to accommodate larger calves.
