These classic, chocolate suede ankle boots were purchased at the Jimmy Choo boutique on Madison Avenue circa 2009. They have not been worn in more than a decade—and they were very lovingly cared for when they were worn on a more regular rotation. They have a slight plaform sole, which makes them more comfortable than a traditional stiletto bootie. The heel is approxomately 4 inches (100mm) but feels slightly less because of the platform. They also have rubber soles that were applied by the Leather Spa in Manhattan to preserve the soles and structure of the boots. They do show some signs of wear on the soles, but, given that they are close to 15 years old, these booties are in remarkable condition. The suede shows almost no signs of wear, and the heels are in good condition. Sadly, my days of wearing heels this high are behind me, but they have lots of life—and style—left in them.
