Justin Alexander style 8937 Mikado Wedding Dress Gown

This ivory, silver and nude wedding dress is the 8937 style by Justin Alexander. This dress was listed as a sample gown when I purchased in 2022 for $300. It has not been altered or worn in a wedding, but it has been tried on. I was obsessed (and still am) with the elegant look of mikado satin. I was lucky enough to find a similar gown that fit me perfectly before I had any alterations done on this gown so it remains unaltered. Described on the JA webpage as "Mikado Box Pleat Ball Gown with Beaded Illusion Square Cut Back". It has a plunging V neckline, cathedral train and built in petticoat. Immaculate this dress it is not! There are several loose and missing buttons. There are also loose threads, loose/missing beading (I do not have any beads) and a snag on one shoulder that I will try to capture in the post of the back detail. If you will wear a veil, a wedding dress topper, have long hair worn down (which was my plan since I was going to change into a party dress post ceremony), or add a similar applique it could be hidden. I am not a seamstress so have no idea of how or if it could be repaired. It has not been professionally cleaned and although I could not find any stains, but as a store sample, it could stand a good pro cleaning. At 5'9 and standing on top of a 4" stepstool there was dress still touching the floor so anyone 6'1" or shorter can have this dress hemmed to suit. This is a beautiful gown with flaws and is priced accordingly. Sale is final, no returns.
