This kantha quilt coat was custom made in India. It is marked as size large but tends to be between a medium and a large. It measures 16.5" shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back, sleeve length is 24" (can be worn turned back), back center length measures 39", lapels are 18.5" long and 4" wide at bottom of lapel. The coat can be worn unbuttoned or buttoned. When buttoned the left lapel has a loop at the bottom which buttons inside and the right lapel loop reaches across the body to button on the outside. There are slit pockets at the side seams on the red/black side and regular type pockets on the orange/green interior. The kantha stitching is of exceptional quality as can be seen on the one photo and it is very hard any more to find kanthas with this fine stitching. The coat is in exceptional condition as it was worn only two or three times. I used to have a boutique specializing in kantha products and this coat is from my personal collection. There are no rips, tears or stains. Please understand that any minor imperfections are to be expected in handmade kantha products since the fabric itself is handmade from recycled saris. This coat comes from a smokefree and pet free home. It is made of cotton.
