Apologies to folks wondering if I'll EVER get my closet up. 😣 I've wondered myself! 😬 Delay in part has stemmed from concern I wouldn't be able to respond/ship in a reasonable time period. I've frankly let too many things interfere, but I refuse to allow the sometimes 4-letter word "life" to deep-six my plan to list. A big THANK YOU to all the friends I have on here who haven't given up on this little turtle! 🐢 Advice welcomed! I have been buying on Posh for a while but am new to selling.

singaporejones @ndiamante Most of the delays have been more due to random small and mid-sized catastrophes, so to speak - family health issues, my own health issues 😛, etc., plus the neverending search for freelance work & time spent doing quick-turnaround edit jobs. It makes anything resembling regularity or a predictable schedule something of a pipe dream.

singaporejones @ndiamante Every time I've thought I'd have a weekend to spend on taking pix, pricing, and posting, some gremlin showed up. It's been a bit ridic. I've also been trying to work on my fiction more religiously - otherwise I'll never get published - which means drafting, editing, redrafting, editing... researching markets, writing cover letters... blah blah time-eaters blah. 😜

Otherwise it'll be another 6 months and no closet, which is just stupid, and that it's taken this long is already quite annoying. (Oh, and searching for a job with medical now as well.) singaporejones @staceylagirl Thanks! ☺ Yeah, I'm going to try to choose my battles carefully. 😆 It'll be a real learning process! The main thing I'm going to stick to, besides Posh rules, is no low-balling, as in anything less than 75% of the asking price. Those offers won't get replies. Neither will "lowest" or similar presumptuous nonsense. I'm happy and ready to work with women. I have little tolerance for "girls"! 😉

singaporejones A cross-platform app called Delight Games. ☺ They have a library of text-based adventure games which is added to regularly, featuring different series. They called for volunteer copy editors (as in no $ but you are credited in-app and on-site). I won't say which episode they asked me to edit, since they requested "no spoilers," but it's their most-downloaded episode, so I'm looking forward to it! 😀 (I've played almost all of their games.)

singaporejones @tammy4444 I know, I keep having to put this off for various reasons. I live alone, so if it needs doing, it's up to me - which doesn't leave a lot of time when you work, freelance, and are trying to get published in fiction. Plus, you know, laundry and lawncare and sleeping.... 😜 Since I have print design training, I want to do this fab job, but Posh's listing process makes that cumbersome. So I'm scrapping that for "good enough" to actually get it done.

dezchic @singaporejones still,waiting!!! 💕💕 actually have a question for you. I saw you have these Y.R.U glitter platforms. Are they comfortable and how narrow are they? Anytime I have bought shoes on posh it hasn't been good. I have a bit of a wider foot, narrow heel and high arch! Any insights 💕

singaporejones @dezchic I know, I knowww - thankee for the patience and the support! 😜 Posh sadly keeps getting back-burnered to other things (granted, important things, but...). On the YRU plats - probably not a win for you if you have wide feet. Mine are fairly narrow and a true 6. My heel is also narrow, but my arch is pretty normal.

singaporejones @dezchic While those YRU platforms have fairly good support (I was surprised), there's no place to put added support without closing off the section you use to put stuff in the base. The shoes are cute without anything in them, but the hidden compartment was what convinced me to pay retail for shoes for once. 😅 The plastic straps don't rub or chafe, thankfully - that was my big concern, since my feet are divas about such things. I'll try them on later tonight to check the width, though.

singaporejones @dezchic They don't slip on the heel, which is nice. I haven't worn them *all* day - my shoes usually come off in the evening (or get traded for some version of clog or comfy shoe) - but I haven't had problems with them. They took a little getting used to since they don't have much spring to them, so they "clonk" a bit more, but they don't seem to bother my feet, and are still easy to walk in. (I refuse to buy impossible shoes.) More later on width... ☺

singaporejones @danysfx 😅 Hey, we learn by falling down. I should know - I spend so much time on the ground! I'm trying to figure out how to track things, whether I should do a spreadsheet.... But the truth is I just have to start listing and figure it out as I go. I should know better than to try designing a system when I don't even know what all the parts are. (There used to be a "loser" emoji with the L on the forehead - that would be me. 😜)

Regardless, the solution to autocorrect issues is to actually edit your message before posting it, so as not to insult your own profession by failing to take the time do so. Enjoy your warmongering, and kindly stay out of my closet, particularly if you are merely going to issue vague threats. Do it again, and I will be blocking you. That sort of behavior has no place on Poshmark.
