@tankar Hey! I am just ... swamped. Sometimes everything happens at once! I've family stuff--one of sisters has a new baby AND is in the middle of a rough divorce, and my grandma (who suffers from dementia) can't be alone anymore. We just moved Grandma to an assisted living facility and it's making her very unhappy, and we had all the work of cleaning out her house full of stuff.

@tankar My mom has needed a lot of help and support through all of this. I'm the oldest, so a lot has fallen on me. All of it will pass and I'm handling the stress, but every time I think it's squared away, there's something more that needs doing! I also run an Indie publisher, and we're in the process of creating a crime fiction imprint and bringing on a new person to run that. It's time consuming.

No worries, hon. I really am glad to know you are ok. I DO understand the responsibilities of being the oldest & all that that implies. We had to put my mother in law in an assisted living facility before she passed & she was very upset. It wasn't a decision made lightly but that didn't make it easier on her. You & your family will be in my thoughts & prayers. Thx so much for taking the time to drop me a line!!
