Rare black Saltillo Serape in fine condition. These were woven on a cotton wrap with very fine wool weft. These and Navajo woven textiles are very similar - there was cross reference and influence. I'd guess this one is at least 60 years old. I had it professionally dry cleaned so it's ready for it's new home. Size is as long as a Queen but width is more like Twin XL.
