k9trainer hi Carman, I am new to selling on P.M. and I noticed you are a Posh Ambassador. I was hoping that you may be able to give me some advice on how to add to my inventory. Once my own items sell, I'd like to add new & exciting things but I not sure how to do that. After giving discounts on the items & shipping, there isn't much profit to be made.

I am curious how people manage to do that. Or some closets sell many pocketbooks with very high values. I can't imagine that one person has that many brand new purses. carmen0824 @k9trainer I’ll be glad to help. I’m afraid I learned by Trial & Error, so I’ll be glad to try and help you make less Errors. Once, I was able to buy Wholesale on Poshmark, I did. I picked a couple of Wholesalers & created a buying Relationship with. They are good at showing you what to buy, if you ask. Know your Limits, don’t Overspend.

carmen0824 @k9trainer You need to Realize that your PoshMark Wholesaler is Buying from a Wholesaler & Doubling or Tripling Price to you, in Turn you Double or Triple Price to Your Customer. Your Customers will expect a Discount, sometime pricing you out of a Profit.

carmen0824 @k9trainer search for a Wholesaler Off Poshmark. I presume, like me you don’t have a Tax ID#, because Posh figures tax for us. That makes it difficult to find a Wholesaler, but they are out there. When you find one, you have No Quantity you have to buy. Buy in one’s or two, if you choose.

k9trainer @carmen0824 so true.. even with items in closet. People want the best possible price, which I get, but making $2.00 here and there isn't worth the gas to the post office..lol. I purchased a 'Mystery Box from a seller who said 'all brand names, worth $150.00' for $50.00. I received a pair of Shein sweatpants and matching sweatshirt, a pair of tiny shorts and a tiny black bra type top and snakeskin style leggings. To me it looked like it was worth $15.00 total.

k9trainer so, I am starting to understand what's not the best things to do. I see closets with tons or NWT purses. Priced at $500 and up. How can anyone have that many purses? they claim they are downsizing. weird! I have some items from my closet. Thought about shopping clearance at places like Kohls, Macy's etc. Do you think that is worth it?

I just am curious how to build a small decent business. With these variants getting worse & possibly attacking the vaccinated as well, home shopping is a great way to shop. k9trainer btw, I currently live in GA.. but spent my whole life in CT. My husband was transferred here for work & we had little to no choice. My son is 21 and in his Senior year at Uconn for Agricultural Biologist. I have spend 25+ years working with dogs. I'm a canine behaviorist consultant now. I have a severe back,hip & neck issue so it's changed my life alot!!! I have 3 amazing rescue pups. Autumn, Lune-blu & Storm.
