Warmth level 4 – for extreme cold climates Edown filling – RDS certified Zip-away stretch side panels for a flexible fit Long line cut Cozy velour lining throughout & inside pockets Hood Ribbed anti-draft cuffs This coat grows with your bump. Zip-away stretch panels at the sides adjust the fit all the way to nine months! There is a slight tear at the arm and light staining(I did not try to clean before listing (newborn and toddler , no time) I think for one season of wear it’s worth it. I’d hate to throw it away when the coat is useful and still nice looking.

erinesnyder I know this isn’t a baby wearing coat but do you think a newborn would fit in for 2 months? Due in February and would just want to pop him or her in there for a few weeks till it warms up. Thanks for your help!

fashiongal83 @erinesnyder depend on your chest size. The extra width is in the side seams to accommodate a larger belly. Since there is nothing to hold the baby, I’m not sure how you would be able to hold baby. There would not be room to accommodate a carrier, interior jacket. But, a cozy onesie is typically enough for baby. I live in a NY, gets pretty cold. I did wear the jacket with a wool sweater for more warmth. So if you needed more warmth, def not enough interior room for baby!

erinesnyder @fashiongal83 thanks so much. Was hoping I could have babe in my wrap or carrier and toss the jacket on over us. We are in CT and it gets cold but postpartum I need the sun on my face for a bit each day. Thanks! I’ll think on it!
