themodestpear @sgmt hi! thanks so much ☺️ its a work in progress but im learning! haha i actually choose a room in the house where i get nice daylight coming through without direct sunrays shining into the window. bright but cloudy days work too! i also purchased a tri-fold presentation board from staples for a nice, clean, flat surface.

themodestpear @sgmt sometimes i change it up and use a white blanket to throw some texture in the background. it takes some experimenting but i usually take several shots and switch up the angles and sometimes throw in styling pieces! :)

themodestpear @jessica6m hi! thanks for the heads up. sorry to hear about your situation. make sure to notify posh by sending them an email so they can look into your issue. since u already sent it, they will be able to see the tracking and know when it is delivered to the buyer. poshmark will get u ur money or ur item back, do not worry! ive always had good customer service with them.

themodestpear @marissamar hi! the best thing to do is to share, share, share! not only items from your own closet, but others as well. when you take an interest in other closets by sharing, many will reciprocate. poshmark is a community effort. try sharing things during party hours and congratulate those who have had host picks. share the closets of party hosts and congratulate them on hosting also!

themodestpear @marissamar another tip is to be more descriptive in your listings. don't just describe what it is but let your buyers know the condition. any sign of wear? holes/rips/tears/pilling? does the item fit true to size? maybe include measurements if you have time.

themodestpear @christinemart1n hey girl! i actually just noticed that over the past week or two. i contacted posh because honestly i think theres some kind of spam going on. for me, its just one specific sweater and the likes are coming from several accounts made in feb 2017 and they all only follow 42 people. posh hasnt really responded on what they plan to do about it. all they told me was to cancel the transaction and not to interact with the person who purchased it in the first place (also a spam account)

themodestpear @carylmel yah! i was in tagalog in jersey and i just moved to california about 2 months ago so were looking to support tagalog here also. but english is my first language haha my speaking skills are still a work in progress! do u speak tagalog? its awesome that theyre planning to form a pre-group there!

themodestpear @carylmel i learned mostly from hearing it so often. i still study for the meetings in english and then compare it side by side with tagalog when im trying to form my answers. helps to also have an english/tagalog dictionary on hand! whenever i hear a word im unfamiliar with during a public talk, i write it down and look it up later. its a lot of practice and sometimes i end up just using taglish as well! haha

themodestpear @carylmel you can definitely make it work! just remember to pray about it if it is your goal and Jehovah will give you the help you need. right now, it’s my only source of income because i haven’t worked since i moved to california. some of the girls here are REALLY good at it and they make more than if they worked a regular day job. im not that good yet! lol i dont make enough to survive so it’s still just a side hustle for now

themodestpear @sunshinelilly Hi Sis! No, thankfully I am not. We occasionally have fire watch and fire warning if the winds pick up and humidity is low but we're far from the most recent fires. Unfortunately, a lot of our brothers and sisters have lost their homes and I think 3 or 4 have lost their lives. Some are still missing :( Praying that Jehovah helps these ones, their families, and their congregations.

themodestpear @cydiegirl you have to be posh ambassador (check your posh stats if you qualify), and have one or more social media accounts connected to your poshmark account (twitter, youtube, or instagram) with at least 5000 followers. they would be the ones to get in touch with you once u complete those steps but if you have done all that, you can probably contact them and ask to be reviewed to be an affiliate

themodestpear @porcelainmoon oh yes! hehe Dale is one of our elders and he’s also our neighbor! 😂 Tagalog is still a struggle for me sometimes as it isn’t my first language but with Jehovah’s blessing, it has worked out. Maybe one day if you return to Tagalog, we will cross paths! But no matter where we serve, it’s who we serve that’s most important. 😘
