Just an update on the boots - they still don't show "scanned" on my side. I'm hoping the PO just missed scanning them and that they are on their way. I've never had a "lost" package before - so, crossing my fingers they show up!

@weimaranermom I do have a good local silversmith, thank you! Though I'm also an amateur jeweler, so I'll probably try annealing it and doing it on my home bench before I take it in. I'm just not sure if my butane torch is up to annealing something this thick! Either way, it's absolutely gorgeous.

Hi! You just purchased my fossil bag and wallet and it is dropped off at the post office but I wanted to warn you about delays in shipping. I do live in southeast Texas and we are having major record breaking flooding from Hurricane Harvey. Most of the mail I send out does go through Houston and Houston is not even letting people in the city. Not sure how long it'll take for you to get it, but I hope you love it!

Okay this is just an update. Everything in my town is flooded. All the houses businesses and everything. I'm sure the post office is closed for a few more days. I think we are on the back end of the storm and it stopped raining a couple hours ago but I will update you in a few more days. Really sorry about the delay.

@lrbonneaux Thank you for keeping me in the loop, but really, you do you right now. I'm not fussed about shipping delays. There are much larger concerns in this world. Even when people aren't getting pounded by hurricanes, I tend to come down on the side of "give them an extra week or two to ship." And you ARE having a dose of the Gulf dumped on you. Please don't worry about it right now.
