Meet the Posher

In fourth grade I had an Esprit vest and trousers set. They were red and I couldn’t wait to wear them to school. In eighth grade, I wore a black bandeau bra beneath a hot pink mock turtleneck with the back cut out. I matched it with a pair of US Boys turquoise shorts that had a stretchy elastic waist. The memories of my fashion history root firmly in my mind and color the memories themselves. What we wear is not just what we wear, but a glimpse into who we are at a certain time.
