I didn't think that my offer of $85 to your $100 was lowballing.😀 yes, I started my offers lower just to get an idea of what you needed to get out of them with your counter. I do start my listings a little high, but that is to give me a little bit of bartering room. They never sell for my full asking price. I personally don't see the harm in asking and I don't get offended when someone offers me a low price. I hope your family is healthy and sane. Have a wonderful weekend!

angieyeargan @chaukette I just assumed since you sell Driftwood Jeans you know the wholesale price and with the Posh percentage that would cause me to lose money. I did notice you gave your original prices higher than the original driftwood price. My tags all say 128.00, on them from driftwood so I can’t mark my original price higher.

So no, I am not aware of the cost to you. I have no idea where and how much you get your item for. I purchase mine from wherever I find them.😁 The Kelly Strawberry Blossoms that are 93%C-5%P-2%S fabric content are more difficult to find and can be sold for more than the original tag price. More notably on another sales platform.

chaukette The term low-balling really doesn't apply here. But yes, I did say that I start my offers low to get an idea of what price the seller needs to get out of their item. I'm not sure what the issue is with a low bid. Either a seller counterfeiters or declines. Isn't that the concept of offers? A seller lists a starting price but you never really know what they will accept until you offer. Once again, I don't know your $ for the jeans, but I personally would raise the starting $ to at least 128.
