louisvuittonbag @mommymoo124 sounds like fun! I used to have a store in Ontario but didn't like the strict hours so now I just sell all over the web. For your second question, I rarely get anything other then Louis Vuitton. Once in a while I'll get a Gucci, Chanel, or Hermes but it's harder for me to authenticate since I don't specialize in them. If you're looking for something particular though just tell me what it is and a price range that works for you and I'll keep my eyes open :)

So I looked at the bag (which is beautiful btw) but I will be honest, Cartier isn't a really popular in the second hand market. It's not just Cartier btw, there's TONS. I had brand new Giorgio Armani Genuine leather dress shoes, came with EVERYTHING, Retail like $1150 and I sold them for around $200 after them being on sale for over a year.

louisvuittonbag @ptl8 With yours, it won't sell lightning fast and may take a year or 2. I would recommend listing on here, Tradesy, maybe eBay, also locally and the just wait. Obviously the lower the price the faster the sale so I would decide the lowest you'd take, price it $100 over that, then just wait.

As for the listing, ok no problem! I'll be on the lookout for your tag and will let you know if I need more pictures. A good rule of thumb is 1 of the date code, 1 of the heat stamp, 1 of both sides, and 1 of the top and bottom, and one of the inside. All should be as clear as possible. Also, on that model it should be 1 continuous sheet of canvas so one side will look upside down and there should not be that square cut under the bag.....just so you know :) yah no problem. This is why I don't charge typically, I look at a few photos and it takes me less then a minute to tell in most cases. Anyway, if you have any other questions feel free to ask :) have a great day!

marebear2005 What do u recommend cleaning the lock and key with? I have one and I don't know how it happened but half of it is shiny and the other darkened and dulled ?

louisvuittonbag @marebear2005 that happens naturally with the locks and all the brass hardware over time. To me, it gives it character but if you wanted to clean it back to its original shine you would need to get it polished. So you can either buy a jewelry polisher yourself and do it (it's very messy just warning you from experience), or you can have it professionally polished. Hope that helps :)

miabaxster4 Hi nick, I have a Louis Vuitton bag that I purchased at the Louis Vuitton store years ago it does not have a date code and is stamped made in the USA the bag was never used in perfect condition how can i prove to my customers it's authentic I was told by the store that some bags don't have a date code and they definitely were made in the USA among many other places . louisvuittonbag @miabaxster4 if I'm not mistaken every bag and accessory (with very few exceptions) came with date codes after around 1980. Some date codes have faded with age due to the material they where stamped on or are very well hidden. What kind of bag is it and when did you purchase it?

miabaxster4 The bag is a papillion 30 M51385 I can't remember when I purchased it but it is probably more than 7 years old from what I was told it is discontinued maybe I am not looking in the right place for the date code . I have looked on line and many of them do not have date codes .

louisvuittonbag @miabaxster4 honestly it's your bag and it's all about how fast you want to sell it. The highest I've seen them sell for (with tags, dust bag, and all) is $650-$700 with the exception of the Takashi papillon, The limited edition mink papillon, and the papillon revelation line (to name a few). To be blunt with you, the first thing I would do is delete that listing and post a new one. All bags after 1980 have date codes, so saying they don't is a big red flag to buyers. Just trying to help :)

louisvuittonbag @killerofwalkers the prices honestly vary GREATLY for a lot of reasons like condition, year, what it comes with. It can range from maybe $300 or so for the most beat up bag you could image to almost paying full retail. I do have a Keepall 55 for sale right now which comes with the strap if you're interested (the 55 and 60 are only a few inches apart).

I personally love Louis Vuitton and what a lot of people don't realize is if you buy a preowned piece in good condition, and at a good price, they hold their value. You can buy new and, if you take care of it, last you 50+ years, or you can buy a nice used one, have it for a year or even a few years, then sell it and get your money back!!!

They're so popular I see used ones in trashed condition going for eye piping amounts of money. For those it's almost worth it just to buy new, it's just so far to find a good deal on them.

Yes there are a lot of fakes out there, but I honestly feel that a good chunk of them are sold by good natured human beings who just don't know they bought, and are now selling, a fake. Then there's people who THINK they bought a fake so are now selling it to get their money back. Then you also have the people who sell fakes but at least tell you it's a fake. Then lastly the ones who sell fakes, know they're fakes, but insist it's real.

claytona57 Hi, I came across your closet when I was trying 2 do some sort of research on a LV bag that I bought @a yard sale for $5. It's in really bad shape & I don't know what model it is or if it is really an authentic LV bag. It appears to be correct design, stitching, smell, & feel w/ dust cover & a card. The way to post that is to make a listing and mark it "not for sale", in the title just put "for @louisvuittonbag to look at", then in the description put the same thing. louisvuittonbag @dreamer112577 Trust me, I know all too well! I see so many fakes everywhere it's crazy. Especially on eBay! One of the worst examples are the Red Louis Vuitton/ Supreme cases. They're very rare and so they're selling for $2-5,000, unfortunately I also see fake ones selling for $500, even $1-2,000 and the buyer has no idea. It's terrible!

kimi_li @louisvuittonbag So my issue is that I want someone's new Latte Rose Gold Alex Wang Rocco, retail $950. She wants my medium sized "like new" Gucci Indy Hobo, retail $2500. She won't even do $200 cash to make up the difference. Problem is also that I can't seem to sell my bag for more than $600 (or ar least thats what I've noticed on other sites). She is the only one with this bag in great cond. AND will trade. Do you think I should do this trade?

louisvuittonbag @kimi_li I highly, highly, HIGHLY do not recommend trading (especially for such high dollar items). Since trading is not covered by Poshmark she could literally send you a box of rocks and there'd be nothing you can do about it. You can complain to Poshmark, the post office, whatever but it won't help you. That's my take on it. I only trade if they're willing to ship their item to me first, make sure it's authentic, then I'll send mine.

I've heard so many horror stories and some people will do trades fairly and get some good reviews and then they do a trade worth a few hundred or a few thousand and BAM, you get nothing, they get a few hundred or a few thousand worth of merchandise and you get nothing. Anyway, yes I'm always buying LV's however I would have to buy it for a price where I can make a little bit of money though.

I worry more about quality then quantity and then I have to buy them at a price where I can give my customers a great deal but still make a little bit. Regarding the Keepalls though, I do have 3 of them not yet listed. None of them are bandoulieres but all 3 are in great condition. If I'm not mistaken I have a 45, 50 and 55, all in great condition!

So with the Piano tote the date code is under the flap inside, for the Totally GM, the date code is on a tab located around the seam of one of those side pockets (I can't remember which side right now), and then for the wallet it would be under the card slots. In the back of the card slots is a big slot an if you look in the corners closest to you (not in the back) you'll see it!

There's A LOT of factors that go into pricing Louis Vuitton's like condition, style (Monogram, damier, etc.), what it comes with, date code, etc. even with obvious ones like condition is tricky since one with perfect handles but has a stain is not worth the same the other way around. To give you an idea, I've seen them go for under $150 to $700+. It also depends on how soon you want to sell it.

Well, unfortunately (and I would like to repeat I am not an expert on Coach) from what I know about their items, the wallet does appear to be fake. What gives it away for me is the CC's which (from my understanding), should be smaller and CC's should be running down the center (which isn't happening on your wallet).

I have sold a couple coach bags but always check them and show the creed tags in my photos, I have questioned a few others, and never received a response, to me if they can't answer a few questions about what their selling, it's most likely not worth buying, so now I always question and look up the tags, although I know some coach don't have them, so I just don't buy those. I'm more cautious now, since that happened.

To answer your question, Poshmark takes 20% of what ever the selling price is or a flat fee if the selling price is under $5 (I'm not 100% sure on what the flat fee is or the threshold is for that though since I don't sell anything in that range).

louisvuittonbag @kaylaaaa24 As for the funds, the buyer pays though the app, Poshmark releases the funds to me (minus the 20%) 3 days after the buyer receives it (assuming they don't report a problem), then you can use the money on the app, transfer to your account, or to your p a y p a l! I own different rings from a yellow gold nugget ring with diamonds to a simple sterling silver ring with a flattened fire opal on top to a Native American ring with a bear claw on it lol. Honestly I just look for pieces that I find interesting and/ or different and it’s a good deal. I know that’s not very helpful for you, but if you do get some in that’s my size you could just take one photo of all of them together.

It looks like they sell for around $250-$300 in the same condition. Some do sell higher (like the red interior and azur for example), but your model tends to sell in that range

louisvuittonbag @kristopherdreww I took a look at it and unfortunately it is a replica. 1st, the date Code is in the correct format, not not the right font. 2nd, the heat stamp is off center and is WAY too big. 3rd, if you look in front on top you’ll see the handle and then 2 Brass rivets. Well in between the rivit and handle (from top down), it should start with a “Star” symbol, while yours starts with the LV symbol.

As far as price, ofcourse what I’d be willing to spend on a piece would vary greatly depending on carat weight, weight of the ring itself, cut and clarity of the diamonds, etc. To help you a little more though, I’m probably looking for something that’s 10k-14k Gold (yellow or white), and with lower grade diamonds.

While I do understand the reasoning behind it, I’m not sure how I feel about a gold ring that’s more alloy then actual gold. Also, I do like that 14k gold has a little more of a yellow tone to it. I don’t rule out 10k all together though because as you said it is more durable, and it’s also a bit cheaper so that’s why I’m 50/50 between the 2.

prairiecv Since my father was a jeweler I still have connections I can get things sized really cheap… So I can always do it for you if you find something why show you something you like… I just didn’t want to go check everything out because all these rings are larger because the man was larger but he was very wealthy and the customer that called me is give me first dibs on the stuff…. prairiecv My dad used to be a jeweler… Yellow gold and white gold or about the same to have resized… silver. Is usually a little cheaper it just depends on the size… And you always have a look at diamond placement… Some rings just can’t be sized too much depending on where the diamonds are located… Platinum is the most expensive to have sized…

I’ve been updating my photography studio and it’s taken WAY Longer then expected unfortunately (which is why nothing is listed). Anyway, in Agendas I have the MM in red epi (so the same one you bought from me just one size bigger), a PM in vernis and a PM in Monogram.

In any event yes, I do have a couple Speedy bags in good condition and I do have a couple straps. The straps I have are not Louis Vuitton, but are replacement straps (so they look the same but are not Louis Vuitton, and do not say Louis Vuitton anywhere, but are a lot cheaper because of it). I should be listing everything over this coming week, but let me know if you have any other questions!
