sjwebz The snowboard boots: Pinch the boot then pull the laces around the back of the boot. We put the tab in the front of the boot under laces so the laces stay tight. Our son has very slender ankles. We actually have the same pair a size bigger and have had to do the same thing. I hope this helps.
