emmapeel Hi! Welcome to Poshmark, you’re off to a great start! My best tips are: 1) Good photos are everything, and good lighting is everything for great photos. 2) Don’t ever get offended by an offer. Yes, you will get laughably low offers, so what? It’s better to at least get an offer, so you can decide whether you want to accept, counter or just ignore it. Many on Poshmark get their pride hurt when they get an offer they deem “offensive”. But a lot can come of being open to receiving offers!

emmapeel 3) Research what your item or one similar has sold for by searching in Posh and filtering by “Available or Sold”. You can then sort by highest price to determine the most it has sold for and price accordingly. 4) Be absolutely honest in your description, and take good photos of any potential defects. Defects are not a dealbreaker for a sale, but if you don’t disclose them, you might find your item coming right back to you.

emmapeel 5) When you make a sale, ship as soon as possible, and wrap as nicely and securely as you can. You can get free boxes from the post office, and they will even ship them to you for free. They will also pick up at your house for free if you schedule it to be picked up during your mail delivery! And a lot of people don’t do this part, but I do think a personal note means so much. It makes me feel good writing it, and it always makes me feel good when somebody sends me one. 🤩BEST OF LUCK!! 😻💖😘
