alyson_faye @pearlgirlbe girl I’m so new to this and have no idea what I’m doing. So little tid bit - I’m in a relationship and of course gained that comfortability weight so the clothes I used to wear no longer fit. Also, I’m downsizing and getting rid of a lot of things bc I’m moving in with my boyfriend. A lot of my clothes and shoes are in great condition and it’d be nice to make some money off of them. Can you give me some advice on how to work this app? How long have you been doing it?

pearlgirlbe @alyson_faye https://youtu.be/KVIlCNWzAoY she has a lot of really good information I have been following her method and it’s been working. But it’s fun. LOTS!! Of sharing your listings and other and being involved. Try to take photos with a white background. I use a blanket I suggest you iron it first (look at my photos 😑😒 not ironed) lol or some people use the floor.

pearlgirlbe Some people dress the photos up. I think that’s a personal preference just try to make it look as nice as possible. People will like your items, when they do you can send them offers. They can either accept, decline or not reply . People can bundle (like more then one item) you can send them an offer. When you make a sale they will send you the label to your email and you just print and package and ship. I use polymailers that go with my theme but you don’t have to.

alyson_faye @pearlgirlbe oh my goodness so much information! I’ve just been using my floor so far bc I’ve only posted shoes but will have dresses, jackets, blazers, jeans and shirts coming soon. How do you take paymentl? I have neither downloaded. And I’m choosing not to use filters so people realize what it is they’re getting ya know.

alyson_faye @yesterdaysduds like idk what posh labels are or how to share items. I’ve gotten a few followers already but don’t understand how that works either. I swear... I’m a millennial age wise, but was meant for like the Victorian age lol much simpler days.

trashbanshee @alyson_faye haha honestly I would just ignore the social aspect in the mean time except for sharing your items ! Posh is really easy because they send you a label for shipping , you just have to print it ! And of course take well lit pics of the item , write any and all details you can think of (use the most important ones in the title )

trashbanshee @alyson_faye For the shopping part it’s pretty much like any other shopping site except each persons closet is gonna have a different cart so it’s usually best to buy multiple things from one person so you only pay shipping once !

alyson_faye @yesterdaysduds alright so say I have multiple dresses, or multiple jackets / blazers... how do I price multiple items? Like do I list a random price and put up like 5 pictures - one for each item - and price them all for like $40 total? And also, say I list a pair of shoes for $20 but someone wants to buy them for $10 or $15. Is there a way to accept a lower price?

trashbanshee @alyson_faye it’s usually better to list each piece separately because you have to take pics of all sides , unless you do a mystery box but those are kinda hard to sell if you don’t have a lot of reviews .. if you do lots , just make sure you show all of the item . People can bundle multiple things and usually will try to to save on shipping . And buyers can send offers on anything which you can counter accept or decline
