The material (fur) what ever it is is attached to material. I don’t think I got shearling or wool or the type of astrakhan wool I thought I was getting. I am sad about it very much too.

stormtreasures @ohhappyday4 Hi, this is Deacon Ricky...Storm and I have been buying and selling fine antiques and jewelry for more than 40 years. The earrings you purchased are Hallmarked as Sterling Silver. Additionally, we tested them with nitric acid and they definitely came up as Sterling. If you place the Cameos over a lamp light you will see that the cameos are Iridescent and translucent.

The meticulous manner in which they were benched, coupled with the fact that they are screw backs and the that the earring backs are in a floral pattern is indicative of an art deco motif.

stormtreasures @ohhappyday4 Hi, whoever gave you that advice is more than a dupe. First, heating a needle and placing it on anything is not advisable ever. I know these cameos are genuine and, if they are undamaged, will gladly take them back and give you a full refund. The best way to tell if a Cameo is real or plastic is to place it on a polishing wheel.

ohhappyday4 I haven’t gotten either tested. I should have, but they are both soooo beautiful I just didn’t make it a priority. Just for peace of mind, I think I will try a little harder to have them tested. I would say 1000% my earrings are. I don’t feel as comfortable saying that my necklace is genuine. However they are so very beautiful and make me Happy and I think about my Mother so I really don’t care if they are or not. I do understand about letting go of that money too 🤷‍♀️best of Luck. 😊🦋🙏🏻
