paigeimrie This jewelry was one of those magical moments that happen but we need to pay attention to as to realize their significance. With COVID I knew I had to close my shop. And....in walks a man who was a friend of my parents and I had known my entire life. His wife who he had been married to 50 plus years, had passed and he wanted to give Rockin’ Frocks her entire collection of jewelry. ❣️

aprilbeads13 Remarkable, what happens when one does. A story for you. 53 yrs ago I was homeless and starving. 43 yrs ago, an officer's wife. Divorced after he beat me. On welfare again, shoplifted my groceries while back in college. Got arrested, natch. 40 yrs ago, had a breakdown. 37 yrs ago, man of my dreams began making me a better person. Slow learner: 3 yrs ago, I was in rehab. ALL of this makes me pay attn, and I get sent angels like you. So I give back.

aprilbeads13 Looked in the closets of everybody who invited and saw everything from new ametrines to plush toys—and I'm seriously baffled. I'll make this easy: I only buy vintage, preferably Mod to Classic, I'm an L/XL (thanks a lot, Covid 30; c'MON NOOM!), I think 70's Lucite every bit as beautiful as Victorian anything, and ALWAYS on the lookout for: vintage carnelian, citrine, amethyst, or good pearl necklaces; authentic dragon's breath is the holy grail, ditto pre-eagle Taxco. THX!

aprilbeads13 @sageandviolet Unsure it was egg yolk till I unwrapped. Unfair advantage? I once sold a citrine necklace for several hundred. Come to find our or was worth thousands. THAT really sucked. So I feel yr pain and wish to atone. Allow me to either return the necklace or pay you what you deem fair. No baloney; just atoement. I wrote that review to clue you that research must be done when in doubt lest you give away a treasure. The 4 stars is because the amber is so so. Please respond? Thanks, April

You can get a new one--never as good as a piece with the patina of age--but a new one is I think around $300? Well worth it. I sold the one I'm wearing.
