I'm April and thanks for stopping by my closet filled with mostly personal items from the 1970's through today. I don't have favorite brands; I just know what I like when I see it. I've always liked non-mainstream clothes - though with aging I've tempered my choices a bit. I made my wedding dress in the pic (2005) and my husband's shirt too and have a pretty active creative streak. I'm having fun here at PM and have met a lot sweet poshers who are helping me learn the ropes - thank you! 🥰🌺

joyous1953 @avrilon I have seen some strange things here lol. I was lucky when I started that my daughter had been on here for a year. I know what things I can hold out on for price even if I wait months. Other things that I just need to move on I don’t care so much about. I just don’t like rude or ridiculous. I will negotiate only up to a point. I never decline but I have been known to ignore after my first offer. I’m not an expert by any means but if can help you with questions let me know.

avrilon @joyous1953 Thanks, I appreciate it. So far I’ve only countered on an item twice and that’s it. Seems silly after a point. I like a deal too but have bought 10 items so far since joining and just hit “Buy” because the price was already reasonable. You were lucky your daughter could show you the ropes! I’m muddling through but sales are slow for sure. And yeah, I’ll give in more on misc clothes, etc. but silver and gold not so much. Anyway - thanks for your support and friendliness! 💕

avrilon @kirsfinefinds Hi again 🙂 the darker cat is a Himalayan (Siamese and Persian mix) and is big but not in a good way. He’s an anxiety eater because he worries a LOT about everything. We’ve had to put him on a diet! Sweetest thing ever though... and we don’t know where his insecurities came from (he was found in a Walmart dumpster at 6 weeks - that might make one insecure!)

kirsfinefinds @avrilon ...my husband encouraged me to try for a Maine Coon but we wanted a rescue, so after begging the rescue group on Petfinder.com to let us adopt him despite the fact that we lived two hours away & after many proofs of our worthiness, she finally said yes & how we love him! I’ll add a pic to our about page of Rocco & his little ‘brother’ Jacques soon (happy to have rescued him & his 3 siblings from the side of the road) 😊

avrilon @kirsfinefinds My old cat Mesa had diabetes for 6 years - shots every day and did fine. She ended up dying of bladder cancer at 13. 😩 It was a tough one cause it was just the 2 of us for years and we were so bonded. I still think of her often tho. 🙂

kirsfinefinds @avrilon I bawled my eyes out when our vet told me our cat had diabetes & he so kindly reassured me & said it would be okay & it was. It seems to be quite manageable in cats, but so sad - bladder CA. That had to be heartbreaking & I know, you never forget them. 😢😔

To add more pictures, I think it’s the same way you do it in a listing. I remember getting frustrated though! Turns out that some changes have to be done on a computer - not the phone. I battled with mine for days.

I used "forgot password" but it didn't send me at email to do so. I have written support, and they keep giving me a lame response, telling me to use "forgot password" & still no email.
