bellanovella @ariel_princess no, if you make an offer and the buyer accepts then payment automatically goes through and sale is final, you don't have to do anything else unless they make a counter offer...then you can accept or decline. It will always show n your news that you have gotten a counter offer or if it was accepted immediately after it is made.

bellanovella If you want to see it...You can make an offer on one of my items...make an offer of $5 and I will decline it so you can see in your news what it looks like. Don't make offers that are this low normally or 1/2 of list price, it makes people mad.

Always check your news feed and click on comments or offers to see those immediately . Since you don't have listings & lots of people asking questions or sharing your items it should be easy to see.

bellanovella @ariel_princess just remember every closet is different. Some people do not take offers, some people raise prices so they can take lower offers. Just look at each closet to get a feel for the seller.

ariel_princess @bellanovella Yeah that was easier than I thought it would be, thank you! Now that I know the basics I can start looking at peoples closets and start adding to mine. Only I did end up buying something on accident before I found out how stuff worked so hopefully what I got I can wear or use. Thats part of the reason I started asking people questions, so I thank you and anyone else that helped me!!

bellanovella @ariel_princess if you straight out buy an item, you can cancel the purchase w/ in the first 2 hours. If you make an offer and it is accepted you cannot cancel

bellanovella @ariel_princess you should message the seller and tell them you are new on Poshmark and did not mean to purchase it, that it was an accident. They can cancel the sale themselves. If it was not an offer situation. I have cancelled purchases before because people do not read size information in the Listing.

bellanovella @ariel_princess have you read the FAQs page? Hit your closet icon and scroll down and click on all of the last 4 listings to read about Poshmark rules. If you straight out buy something you can cancel, because people share each other's items an accidentally buy or bundle things, just because the tabs are close together. So yes you can cancel, most people do not know this, and once you buy something it is yours to do with as you like. Keep it, sell it...whatever

bellanovella @ariel_princess I do not generally cancel a sale unless it has odd sizing and I am sure the person did not read the full LISTNG. Never ship an item immediately. Wait a few hours, and beware a buyer who asks can you ship right now, as in go to the post office immediately. They can still cancel, and you have already shipped it..
