fashionsaloon_4 For some strange reason, your item doesn't show that tracking has begun, even though I shipped two other packages along with yours at the same time . . . and the other packages have been tracked and delivered to the buyers days ago.

fashionsaloon_4 I went to the post office this past Monday, April 25, and I spoke to the clerks. I was advised to wait a few days, it could be sitting here, then go online to fill out a claim form. I put your package and another identical package in the same mail chute. I gave the large flat rate box to the mail clerk, since I always drop off packages on my way to work.

fashionsaloon_4 The other clerk told me I can get a mail receipt to show proof of mailing. I told her: "I can't wait in line, because I will be late for work. That's why I handed the large packages or boxes to the mail clerk at the courtesy door. However, she told me over a week ago, I can drop off the regular packages in the mail chute--which I did--instead of waiting a few minutes for her or another clerk to arrive."

fashionsaloon_4 I went to the website to file a claim. However, it states: "I must have the original mailing receipt, etc." I told the clerk: I never had a problem dropping off my regular packages or average size boxes in the mail chute or the big pull down mail stainless steel wall mounted mailbox." I stopped waiting in line on my off days, because sometimes I would have to wait 30 to 45 minutes at this or other post offices.

fashionsaloon_4 All I can do is wait for another 10 days as one of the clerks recommended, since it could be misplaced. I told her: "I have a friend who told me she has friends who work at the post office, and they laugh and brag about stealing mail and packages. Maybe this is what happened." She was surprised I said that.

fashionsaloon_4 Now I normally don't ship packages from my personal post office in Beverly Hills unless I have to retrieve mail from my post office box, which is just once a week. I'm wondering because my return address is for a post office in Beverly Hills, maybe someone took the package from the Los Angeles post office or from the distribution post office thinking it had valuable contents in it. Who knows?

fashionsaloon_4 Most of my mail goes directly to my post office box at one of the Beverly Hills post offices. I've received my mail six months later, which doesn't surprise me at all. It's happened more than once, but not always six months later. There used to be four post offices in Beverly Hills, now there's just three. Sometimes I have to ask the mail clerk s to check again, because I'm expecting more than one package. Sure enough, they find the second package.

fashionsaloon_4 This has happened at two of the post offices where I retrieved my mail from; and years ago, I didn't know the post office boxes in Beverly Hills cost more to rent than the post office boxes in Los Angeles. Now they are the same price, because my sister has a p. o. box in Los Angeles. Hopefully, the package will arrive soon. I apologize about the long rant.
