khbutler2 @belindacooper13 It's been 3 years, he transplant at The Mayo Clinic.. being born with 4 kidneys and no bladder complicated things for him so he's spent 200-269 days a year in hospitals for the past 9 years. Last year was the least at around 160 days. It took 2 years for his body to accept the kidney. Just got out of the hospital Thursday (gallbladder, pancreas, kidney issues) but he's a very complex patient.

belindacooper13 @khbutler2 I received a heart on Good Friday in 2009, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. God has blessed me with 7 wonderful years. Watched both my kids graduate, I've been able to see two gorgeous kids born, my grandson will be 3 in January, my granddaughter will be 3 months on the 23rd. I have been blessed in so many ways.

khbutler2 @belindacooper13 That's so good to hear.. It certainly is a blessing to receive the gift of life so you could continue on being involved in your family members lives and have the opportunity to see special moments and milestones. My husband is also very blessed and has kept an amazingly positive spirit and outlook throughout his trails... I'm in awe at how he does it. Good luck in your future endeavors and God bless!!
