devinizenberg Hello, Can you please explain which button was hanging by a thread, this coat was literally like new and was worn once after I took the last photo all the buttons were attached as they were in the photo. If there was any flaws I can assure it was not on my end. It could possibly have been from shipping, but I would like to offer you an apology as it was not my intention to deceive you or misrepresent any facts about the coat. Again, my apologies.

bmetzman No worries, I suspect the fault lies with the manufacturer as another button along the collar has recently fallen out after nearly no contact. Besides the buttons the coat is of excellent craftsmanship. I am no stranger to sowing on a button, it is a solitary inconvenience. I suspect I will get many years of use out of the coat after the alteration. As for your query, I believe the button was on the lower left hand side.
