You are a special Lady and the nurse friend you mentioned, was Blessed with a loving and caring friend, YOU. Sometimes life doesn’t make sense. People who give so much to others and brighten our world, are gone too soon. KEEP SPREADING YOUR SUNSHINE. You need to get a Pilot Plumix pen ( Amazon) or a Shaffer fine point calligraphy pen. Your handwriting is beautiful.

neicynurse @grannascloset …amazing that in the card I sent , I said that your note touched my heart. Get the pens for yourself. I have written many wedding invitations, place cards etc for friends and family. The pilot pen works on most surfaces, it rarely “bleeds” The Schaefer fine point is great for card stock but on some paper will bleed . I always experiment by putting a small dot on the stationary. If the dot grows, use the Pilot. Please keep me posted.

grannascloset @neicynurse After you said that I actually found the Schaefer calligraphy kit that I bought years ago. I owned a business and had two small grandchildren so not much time! I will get it out and practice. Thanks so much for the suggestions. I wish you lived closer we could meet for coffee!💜

neicynurse @grannascloset No doubt you will create lots of “eye candy” . Remember you don’t have to do actual calligraphy. Look up ornate cursive writing and you should be able to find some ideas. We have a lot in common. I am raising a grandson. It’s much harder at age 66 to raise a child as opposed to being in your 20s and 30s. I would have loved to have coffee together. Keep me posted on your writing. Sending a big hug XXX

grannascloset Got your sweet card this week. Thank you so much. We are about 40 minutes from Seneca. I delivered a lot of wedding cakes to that area! One of the largest I ever made went to the Thrift home. Your handwriting is beautiful. I’m getting used to the Plumix (doesn’t glide like a pen…kind of like piping with buttercream rather than my favorite royal icing)!! Wish we lived closer. Blessings to you
