myagogo @betsygrace63 hi, I see you are trying to return the shoes. I’m sorry the heel broke, if it’s just the plastic it can be fixed. The shoes are vintage, over 20 years old, this is common with vintage shoes. I’m sure a cobbler can apply a new heel bottom. Please let me know if it’s more than just the plastic bottom that broke.

betsygrace63 The bottom of the heel shattered immediately when I stepped off the carpeting onto a hard surface. I'm sorry, but I've lost confidence in the shoe. I have many shoes of that age, and never have had a problem.
