jschallau @laurenlee43567 along these lines: scammer asks you to email photos of item to an email address and name on email always seems a bit off. They say they want to buy your item but for some reason can't come see it. Story is always a bit off too. They'll offer to send you a certified check, then you cash it and send the item.

jschallau @laurenlee43567 But then buy the time you have sent the item, sonething happens and the payment is reversed, and you are out o f your item. They will insist on paying certified check, not meeting in person, and that you mail the item after the check clears. You can Google. I've never fallen for it but have had scammers try twice.
