@cmiller1165 I’m glad your son liked the wallet. The quality for LV was MUCH better in the 80’s and that should last him quite awhile. I bought a brand new wallet from the store last year and it’s already falling apart. Have a great week! 🙏

@cmiller1165 It’s a little strange that within the hour, or even minutes, there’s such a contrast here. One message says the bill compartment the next days the entire wallet is falling apart. Can you explain exactly how it’s ‘falling apart’?

@cmiller1165 Hey Cheryl! I thought you said it was the bill compartments that were damaged? Unfortunately, I don’t have multiples of items I sell, each one is unique and normally a ‘harder to find’ model like this one. Based on the photo, it looks like that piece was torn. I had mentioned that particular damage in the listing and the only way it could have gotten worse is if it was physically pulled, which I’m certain was an accident.

@cmiller1165 I sent the photo to a person who does repairs and he said it should be an easy fix and cost around $10. Given the age of the wallet (40+ years old) perhaps the stitching was a little more fragile. Was there any other damage?

@awthentikluxury this was not pulled on there were no cards out in the wallet . The wallet was in his pocket, when he took the walker out of his pocket to pay cash for his lunch this is what it looked like. He is a 26 yr old man and I was with him at lunch . Please send your address to return this wallet for the repair or my money back.

@awthentikluxury at this point ... Send your return address and refund my money . If you have someone that can fix it for $10 then do so. I shouldn’t pay $210 for a wallet that was in my son’s pocket less than four hours to take it out to buy his lunch and all the stitching is torn apart from the leather. Do I need to file a complaint with posh in regards to the sale ?

@cmiller1165 Hey Cheryl, please understand my point of view. I was given three conflicting accounts of where the damage was and the severity of it. It’s physically impossible for something to tear without pressure. The wallet didn’t just ‘fall apart’ sitting in a pockets. Still, I want you to be happy with the sale even though it was accepted and there’s nothing Poshmark can do at this point bc the sale was complete.

@cmiller1165 Threatening to escalate,while simultaneously suggesting I break PM’s policy to work outside of their system, will go nowhere and is quite telling in itself, as is taking zero responsibility for the damage. The easiest option is to have the wallet repaired and I will reimburse you for the cost. I never said I would physically repair the wallet or be the middle man for the repair. That would take at least a week versus bringing it to your local shop and getting it back same day.

@cmiller1165 Another solution is you sending back the wallet with a prepaid shipping label and I will replace the wallet with another of your choosing at the same cost. I have asked for your return address two days and how you’re going to help. We have been accused of damaging the wallet . Which makes no sense,why damage something WE WANT? @cmiller1165 Who’s no one? It’s outlined in your initial messages. I’m not accusing you of purposely damaging the item. That, indeed, makes no sense. However, the wallet was somehow torn after you acknowledged it wasn’t when you received it. If you buy an article of clothing and spill something on yourself, do you demand a return? I’ve offered three solutions, yet you still send this absurd message. I’ve tried, now I’m done.

@awthentikluxury I have asked 5 times for your return address .You haven’t sent. I do not buy anything ,accidentally spill something on it and ask a store to refund for my mistake. I saw the one stitch missing in your photo, has nothing to do with dry rotted leather that tore away from the stitching. Men sit with wallets in their pockets . I’m done as well, I’m happy to screen shot your lovely customer service remarks and share to Posh and followers . I’ll reach out to our attorney as well.

Threatening me with an attorney, Karen, is all I need to know to see where you stand with your entitlement. I provided several options to solve the problem even though the sale was complete. If you buy an item and then break it you are not entitled to a new one, Karen.

@cmiller1165 I’m glad you acknowledge that I offered solutions. If I could issue a partial refund to cover the cost of repair I would, but there’s nothing that can be done through PM at this point. Post a copy of a repair receipt within a reasonable time and I will reimburse you. That doesn’t apply if anything negative is falsely put out there in attempt to hard my stellar reputation as an honest seller. Thank you

@awthentikluxury the only acceptable solution that I’m interested in is a return/exchange that you offered as well. This “KAREN”was widowed at 23, with a son, put herself through college w/ a MBA ,hosted 11 exchange students, worked her way to the VP position with a 6 figure income that starts with a 5, happily married 33 yrs now doesn’t need an absurd offer of splitting a repair.Top rated businesses understand the integrity of communication, they’re NEVER insulting or demeaning to their clients

Had you stopped after sharing your life resume and how much you “make” I would have commended your accomplishments, but you didn’t, you instead attempt to insult me.
