Hi! I'm Dave. I'm a trans-female. If you don't know what that is, it's a male on the journey of transitioning to becoming a female. That definition is not all encompassing as each person's journey is different and unique. I have in the past two years started presenting as female at my place of employment and have tremendous support there. I have felt from a very young age that I was different and it didn't clearly come into view until the past few years. Poshmark has allowed me to experiment and find what styles and type of clothing fits and looks best on me at very inexpensive cost. The items I offer for sale are mostly reposhs once I have tried things on and realize they are not a good fit for me. My favorite items are dresses, leggings, tunics. My favorite brands are Title Nine, Loft and LuLaRoe. Feel free to ask questions about any items and I usually will accept reasonable offers. Thanks for stopping by! This allows me to have the package held at my local post office for me to pick up there. It is easier for me to sometimes have it held there. androgynousme @dillygirl61 That's what the sports bras are for too. Keep sweat to a minimum and prevents nipple chaffing. Loose running shirts for guys chafe the nipples and if I'm running long enough, they can bleed. Not fun. The sport bras being tight fitting prevent that.

androgynousme @justforus7 Thanks for the kind words. You can do it. I only started running 3 years ago having never done it. I enrolled in a beginner's running class. We starterd out by doing a walk/run alternating pattern. Each week we slowly increased the duration of running vs. walking. We were going by time running, not distance.

androgynousme After 8 weeks, I could run for 20 minutes without stopping. Then I continued to build from there. At my age, 57, I'm not going to win anything, but run for the physical and mental benefits. But I've got to be honest, there are times it's a mental struggle to get out the door. A bit too small as I can only get the zipper halfway up, but that's great because I'm on a plan to drop 30 pounds by Fall, so this really gives me motivation. I was surprised how long it is. For some reason I thought it was shorter. I absolutely love it 😍. You were spot on that it is my taste. It feels so luxurious on my legs. androgynousme @justforus7 Interesting thoughts. I believe that clothing is not male or female. As you said, it's the person who wears it that makes it their own. I've received many compliments on my clothing choices lately, mostly from women. I think men are too afraid to do that and are stuck in what society has taught them.

In recent years, I decided that it was time to start crossing the barrier of what I wore. As my profile says, no one made the rules as to what I can and cannot wear. That being said, I don't want to look foolish either, so I started pushing the boundaries with jeans, and t shirts. I'm an avid runner so most of my running clothing is female styles.

My favorite styles are tunics/short dresses over jeans, bodysuits with jeggings, and boho type tops over turtlenecks with skinny jeans. I work in a very open-minded and accepting job, so no one has cared. I've received many compliments on my clothing, mostly from the female co-workers.

My spouse is NOT supportive fan of some of my choices, so I'm limited in how far I can push the envelope. I'd love to try and skirt or skirt, but at this time it would not be accepted at home. So what are your favorite styles or articles of clothing? How far have you gone in female styles? Great to find a like minded person 🙂.

I'm around a lot of conservative people and a lot of progressive people--who are all great--but who prove to be more conservative than they realize. So, it's more subtle choices for me: jeggings with long fit tees are my go-tos right now, with hi-top Chucks. I have women's Timberlands that I love. I also work out to have a leaner lower body physique, so that things don't look TOO awful on me haha! At home, leggings, women's tees, hoodies, cardigans.

I just bought this aztec print long cardigan from a seller here that's sooo comfy! I mean, there's a practical aspect to it, too: a lot of women's clothes are really soft, lightweight, and just overall comfortable. But there's also an aesthetic that feels great: femininity. That shouldn't be a derisive thing, but you're right, it's still tough to accept for most.

I call it individual expression. My general size is a woman's XL. In jeans, shorts and jeggings I'm a 14/16 depending on the stretch. In tops I'm a 38/40. Shoes are 12/13 depending on the brand and shape of the toe. I'm looking forward to seeing if you have anything in my sizes. 😁

shopyellowdaisy He's going to be 22, he's straight, and never expressed any interest in crossdressing so to speak, he just would go in my closet and grab something if he though it was cool... he painted his nails a few time also because he thought it looked cool, but nothing more than that. He's a musician, and I've never made any of my kids feel awkward when it comes to expressing themselves. Im always open and talking to them, so they feel comfortable, and that makes me happy. ❤

androgynousme @audrey618 Hi there. Thanks for the suggestions. I must admit that I'm not a cashmere/silk person. You are right about how those fabrics drape. Maybe I just never have found the right styles in those fabrics that look good on me. I prefer stretchy close fitting materials. My woman's shoe size is a US 12 or a Euro 45/46. What style of dance do you perform? I took ballet a number of years ago and have always wanted to get back to it. Looking forward to hearing back from you

androgynousme @vanfrell WOW!!! Very impressive. I only started running a few years ago. Did my first marathon in 2018. Small races intermittently since then. COVID kinda put a damper on things. Just getting back into it. Training for Boston Virtual Marathon in October. Virtual is the closest I'll ever get to running Boston. Too slow. No time qualifications to enter, just $$$.

johannab2 @androgynousme I have several I can show you that are BNWT but I want to clarify your size. The Amelia dress you liked is XL size 16-18 but runs smaller than that. I am usually a size 10 or 12 for reference if you look at my picture. I am 5’6

It's a bit confusing because LuLaRoe sizing says the Amelia large fits 12 - 14, but I figured they would shrink a bit. So depending on the brand and style, I can take a L or XL. Is that you modeling the Amelia that I liked?

You thought the color would look good with the dress and my hair. I posted 2 pictures on my profile page. I was only able to get from the waist up.
