debbyjones717 @stormtreasures sweetheart I wish I could go back to work. I am old and broken. My health is better than some and worse than many. My body fails me but I have a job to do. I figure the lord knew it was my job to care for my granddaughter who has special needs. The neurologist talks in words that leave more questions than she answers. My granddaughter is almost 2 1/2 years old.

debbyjones717 @stormtreasures no Lexi was full term and there were no complications. “I” worked with about 500 children in 5+ years at a “kinder care” daycare. I have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. I’m no expert BUT I knew developmentally something was wrong.

debbyjones717 I was tired of the doctors not listening, answering questions or acknowledging my existence. I care for Lexi at my house more hours than her mom,because of moms work. I am disabled. But my brain works. I pushed until I found a doc that listened. We had a MRI of her lower brain stem and you know the rest. I am reading as I need to know what to do next Lex is in occupational therapy as well as speech as she can not communicate at all. She walks awkwardly and has learned to somewhat feed herself.

debbyjones717 @vtgcovergirl forgot to tell you honey concerning the medals. It’s ok. I just live for the kids. I’m everyone’s grandma, they come into my yard and the sun shines warmer on my face. I teach them and they enjoy learning. I’m an old fool but not to children. I used to work with problem kids as an assistant to a teacher. The medals seemed ideal for my little yard crew , if you locate anything masculine alert me if your able please ... you have great items.

Just ‘, diagnosed osteoporosis with herniated c 5-6, 6-7 and lumbar issues can’t recall which disc are involved. Can’t sit too long. Can’t stand too long. Can’t sleep too long. That is just the beginning of my health history. But no sense to bore you. Just want you to know I’m one who understands.

To clarify where you gave me way too much credit: I don’t know if my decision to avoid more surgery is necessarily smarter. I’m just too terrified to go there again. Any surgeon will say it’s the thing to do, but then they get paid to cut. And after what I’ve learned through this whole experience, I trust my own judgment before the medical “establishment” any day of the week. ‘Nuff said... 🤣🧐😬😉

She became my latest “adopted needy” person. I’m always trying to help someone but it often “bites” me. Lana married, moved to the USA and became a citizen of the US. All was well until her spouse died not adding her as his benificiary.

And now there are no beds for doctors or nurses in the hospitals that the doctors got covid working in. She said her daughter 3 more of her daughters family are very sick. She herself is sick. Her son-in-laws surgery was cancelled, to have a mass removed in his head due to covid.

debbyjones717 @bpram yes I understand I still think your pieces are beautiful. I no longer wear my gold as I’m retired and quite old. I do still keep having my jeweler change things as I have visions of what I think will look great so I have things taken apart and I have my jeweler do the work. I was saying I’d love to make things like you do. They are great. I have to rely on someone else to solder my pieces.

bpram Debbie, It starts with a long piece of patterned sterling wire that I cut to the proper size then attach the side and wrap wires securely. Next comes the clasp made from round wire and it is attached to the item then it is curved and polished. It is not a bracelet when I begin.
