francisnevarez @slackergirl Ok thanks! And yes I do have questions for you. Someone has already messaged me about purchasing the David's Bridal Gown that I have posted on here but said she needs my full name and address so she can mail payment to me and that she would even pay $100.00 mre than the asking price. I'm not sure if that's how things go usually but it kind of sounded a bit suspect? What are your thoughts on this and is this how payment is usually made on Poshmark?

slackergirl @francisnevarez yes, I would be very suspicious. She’s asking to do a transaction outside of posh and that could get your account banned. Why would she offer to pay more than your asking price? Sounds like a scam. I would invite her to use the buy or offer button if she would like the dress.

slackergirl @francisnevarez to be clear, a legit transaction goes through pm. The buyer either buys the item outright or you agree on a price using the offer system. Posh collects the money and credits you with your 80%. Once the buyer receives and accepts the item, poshmark releases your money to you. You can request a check, direct deposit, or use the money to shop on pm. Hope that helps.
