@rockycash hi thanks so much for the warm welcome! so can you help me out on how to do offers and sell on here please because I have one dress I would like to give away and am new on here?

Hi G'ianni... The secret to sales is to visit as many closets as you can and share their items. This opens your closet to viewing by all of their followers. Set your items at a reasonable price, but realize that Poshmark takes 20 percent of the purchase price. Be sure to read the FAQ's for more insight. Also, know the buyer pays postage up to 5 lbs. Anything you sell over 5 lbs. the seller pays. See the chart. Therefore you need to price accordingly. I hope this helps.

If someone makes an offer on your item, you can accept, decline or counter. I usually counter the offer for what I think is fair. If It is within a reasonable range, I may accept. The only time I have declined, is when The offer is ridiculously low or insulting. Remember Poshmark takes another 20% on items above 15 and a straight 2.95 below that amount. So be sure the final amount will satisfy you. Check FAQ to be sure I am right on the 15. I may be wrong, it may be 13.

@rockycash if a potential buyer and I have negotiated a price and they ask for me to advert the item from the site to hold it for them how would I do so?

@giannirowley18 If you believe they truly want it, edit your listing to say "Not For Sale". When they want to purchase, put it back on sale and ask them to.purchase quickly, so no one else does. That is how I would do it. However, if someone asks you to sell it to them outside of Poshmark or to communicate with them by private e-mail, I have always said no. Always stay and work within Poshmark guidelines. It protects the seller and buyer. Don't do anything against the rules.
