devonalison1 That is very nice! So at five you must have memories of your birthplace, & your Mom is able to teach you German traditions, which is important , because it is part of who you are. Thank you for sharing! I love German food, particularly all the berries that you do not see so often here or in the UK, like the red currants & black currants. I have many happy memories of my visit. One of my aunts is also German, & our favorite au pair growing up. I love the straw stars & cake & cookies at Xmas too
