I've been here in KY for past 3 years~Love the people here! Warm and Welcoming, close knit community! I just discovered a Quarter Horse farm nearby~hope to get there this weekend! :)

hogepogecottage @lorinlb Wow! You have cousins in Kenbebunk! I lived in Rockport~Mid Coast Maine. I opened a Restaurant there on the Coast on Route 1. I was also the Shore Operations Mgr. of a Natl. Historic Sailing Schooner, J & E Riggin~Homeport, Rockland. If you make your way to Maine, I Highly Recommend a 6 day Sail! No electricity~Everything cooked on a wood stove, oil lanterns to illuminate the night sky and a Lobster Bake on an Island! An Unforgettable Voyage!

hogepogecottage @lorinlb Sailing for 6 months must have been an Adventure! How Exciting for your brother! Lobsters were So Prolific many years ago that they would crawl out of the ocean onto the shore! There's Nothing like a Maine Lobster right out of the Sea! When I lived in Maine, I didn't serve them in my Restaurant, nor did I eat them. I actually bought a pair and turned them loose in the cove by my home. They happily crawled into the Sea! :)
