Hi Jennifer,
I am sorry if there is an odor. They were never packed with moth balls, just dryer sheets. These are not my clothes they were my mother n laws. Some of those button down blouses were hanging in back of closet. Try washing them. I am sure the smell will go away. Thank you for your purchase, Tracey14821
