@ling267 Good Evening! Not sure why they are sending you the same message. Quite possibly they may be welcoming you to the community. Poshmark support can assist you further with any in depth queries that you may have, as they have specific access to your account details. All the best Doll!

Yes, I’m here to help!! Poshmark does have some good articles on starting your closet, but I’ll do my best to explain. The best tips I have for starting a business are
••take good pictures: make sure you have good lighting, and that people can see what product you’re selling
alwaysposhest
••follow lots of other poshers!! The more people you follow, the more will see your closet
••share others’ closets: the more you share others’ closets, the more they will share yours back.
••likes: when someone ‘likes’ your item, that doesn’t automatically mean they want to buy it. Just make them and offer, and if theyre interested, they’ll make the next move.

••receiving money: this part is super easy. It will be pending when you first ship out your item. When your buyer receives their item, they will “accept” and the money is released to you. You can set up direct deposit with your bank account, or use the money on other

things on posh. Even if you are just a seller, poshmark is a community built to support other women, and no matter your style I believe you’d be able to find something you like somewhere :) poshmark shopping is great for every occasion! Personally I think it’s a lot better to be both a buyer and seller rather than just a seller.

••shipping: when someone buys an item of yours, you get an email with a shipping label attached at the bottom. You print the label and pack your item, and put the label on the box. Then you bring it to your USPS and drop it off. The rest is up to the USPS :)

••pricing: a big mistake new poshers always make is with pricing. They typically either price too high or too low. To find what a good price for your items would be, click on their brand, and click the filter. Then click “availability” and click “sold”. This tells you what the brand is worth, and how much other poshers are selling the same things for. This is called “price comping” if you don’t take the time to do this, you will not make sales....

@kfindlay3 here is a problem I have : a lady she asked my address and phone number and she said she want me put 40dollars on hold and she wrote a check sent to me on last Saturday !! Is this right way to do the business here ?
alwaysposhest
@ling267 some people do try to do transactions off poshmark (the situation you described), but that is technically against posh rules. It’s not my business if you decide to do that, but it’s a lot safer to just do business on the poshmark app. I would never do my posh business elsewhere, and as an ambassador I advise you to not either. However, if she already sent you a check, you might need to mail her something? I’m not sure I fully understand the situation...
ling267
@kfindlay3 thank you so much appreciate , I am learning to day !! I will the rules here you know I am new don’t know anything !!!
alwaysposhest
Yes of course...I would read poshmark’s articles to learn more if I were you. That’s what I did :)
