Are you taking amything special in addition to working out? I got side tracked. I wanted to know if you could hold the bike Capri pants I liked till this Friday. I've never been able to maintain a weightloss program for longer than 6 months, so I'm glad this finally stuck for me! ☺ Medications are a beast sometimes, but you can do it!! 💪

jwsules @thecloset305 I somewhat transitioned into a dairy free keto diet when I was prepping for my competition, but it was so much harder than W30 - I love carbs with my whole heart 😂 and with my training, I NEED carbs, so that turned into carb cycling, and now I'm embarking on a brand new experiment I'm kind of just winging it on my own and if it works, maybe I'll write a book, be on the New York's Best Seller list and become a millionaire 😂

savvypeddler @jwsules day one of a 4 day all protein cleanse (trying my rewrite my brain to understand that) Found out I’m literally 1/2 muscle and 1/2 fat yesterday- and my metabolic rate is basically non existent. jwsules @alanern1 I followed the Whole30 program - I encourage everyone to try it for 30 days, even people who don't have a ton of weight to lose! It's an elimination diet, so after 30 days you slowly add stuff back in, but I stayed on it for 5 months and lost 50 pounds in 4 months (the first 23 of those pounds were in the first 30 days!) I love it so much! I still stick to a combination of it and Paleo now 🙂

jwsules @alanern1 Sorry, I was 100% compliant for 4 months and lost the 50 lbs - then for like 5-6 more months, I followed it at about 90% compliance and lost another 40 lbs...my idea of a "cheat" was white rice at Chipotle! 😂 but I didn't crave anything or feel deprived at all!!

alanern1 @jwsules is it a book, video, or how do you get info on it? What do you do for exercise? I saw your gym pics. I don’t know “how” to exercise...does that make sense? Not sure what to do for 30min to 1hr very day. I struggle with that!!!

jwsules @alanern1 There is a book but I honestly used the website - it has all the program details and rules for free, print offs you can take with you grocery shopping, etc. I feel like you're paying for the recipes in the book, I just searched recipes on Pinterest! You should Google it and read up on it! The first 30 days, I "worked out" once (if you could call it that) lol it took me a long time to work up to my workouts now, but that's okay if you don't know how to workout now, it'll come!

jwsules @alanern1 I started meeting with a personal trainer about 3 months in (May 2017) and I've been going 1-2x per week with her since then. Those workouts vary between an hour or 2 because I get chatting and I lift slow. I mainly lift as my means of working out but I do HIIT training as my cardio too, short and sweet 😂

jwsules @alanern1 Minimum 3x per week, goal is 4 to 5 - once I get into a full-on prep, that'll go up to at least 6x with more focus on cardio 😭 I currently lift legs at least 2x per week and upper body 1x and do the least amount of cardio possible because I hate it so much! Lol

alanern1 @jwsules I have to figure out a way to make time in my schedule so that I can work out every day. I have four kids and work 40+ hours a week. I feel like all I do is work and sleep and clean house. Do you work out before work or in the evening at the end of your day?

jwsules @alanern1 I have to force myself to get up early, I've tried to go in the evenings after work, but it's way easier to talk myself out of it at night when I'm tired. It hasn't miraculously turned me into a morning person, I still LOVE sleeping, but it's the only way I'll get it in. Plus, I feel like doing it at the beginning of the day keeps me more accountable and it does give me more energy! 🏋🏼‍♀️ = ☕☕☕☕

sunnybluz I'm with you on the weight loss! What a difference in going from a size 12 or more down to a size 4. My larger clothes fit just awful now. This morning I finally broke through the plateau... it was three months of holding, and I finally dropped two pounds below. It's been from September... to now. jwsules @leashiecreek Oh my goodness too funny 😂 it was actually straight out of the laundry before I shipped it out! For anything I'm selling, I use Arm and Hammer free and clear detergent, no softener and some white distilled vinegar (best laundry hack ever)! I do use a small cap of the Unstoppables as I've never heard of them causing issues the way dryer sheets do. Maybe it was them?!

jwsules @leashiecreek Next time you're down the laundry aisle, smell the Bliss Downy Infusions, they are "sparkling amber and rose" - my all time favorite is the Romantic which is "white tea and peony" but they have been out the last several times I've gone.

nouveautara I find your post absolutely inspirational❣️I have spent the past 2 years trying to lose the weight I gained during pregnancy. Needless to say it has been interesting. I have finally decided that I will scoot-crawl-walk-run. Right now I am in the scooting phase of making exercise a regular routine again. So keep your fingers crossed for me or throw me a prayer. 😉
