nademaj @kathys2ndcloset Hi Kathy, the more you share, the more visibility you have, so the more opportunities you have to make sales! Your own shares are more important than community shares, because community shares do not put your listings back to the front on the search pages. Still it's good to do community shares, especially for people who do not have many followers! Most people will share at least one of your listings back, so it's worth it if you don't have many followers yet.

nademaj @kathys2ndcloset If you are going to share your whole closet only one time per day, then it's probably best during the evening. If you're going to share twice, then first thing in the mornings a well. Etc. It depends how many times per day you share (it also depends where you are located in Canada, of course, if you're going to sell across the whole country, right?). You've made many sales, you know when your customers are active. You have to share before they get online ;)

nademaj @kathys2ndcloset I always do the shares at the most strategic time depending how many times per day i share. I usually share the whole closet at once in order to keep the order of your items but i can do otherwise if requested.

Then before lunch. Then mi-afternoon. Then end afternoon/early evening. And that will be your 1000 free shares. You'll let me know what you think :)

nademaj @kathys2ndcloset if i share from my account, and right now, yes. But i've only been active on Poshmark for about 36 hours (i only had about 100 followers before that, so i gained 3000 followers in 36 hours which is not extraordinary, but it's not that bad, right), and i'm working into increasing the number of my followers very quickly.

nademaj @kathys2ndcloset If i share from your account, then your listings are shared to your followers. And they're shared to the listings page as well, so that buyers who search for a specific item that you're selling will see your item at the top of their search page each time i share.

kathys2ndcloset @nademaj I’ve learned so much on my poshmark journey. So much of what I’ve done has been a waste of time. I’ve recently learned that sharing other people’s closet really doesn’t help them. The most important thing to do is share your own closet (mostly for getting your item at the top of the search engine). I just thought I’d like to see what a virtual assistant is about and how it could help. My main objective right now is to clear out much of my closet at reduced rates.

nademaj @kathys2ndcloset i understand the frustation, and yes you're right, the one most important thing you can do to sell your items is to share your own listings, that is 100% true. I understand your doubts about giving your account info. No virtual assistant can truly help you achieve your goals if they can't log into your account though.

nademaj @kathys2ndcloset It helps if they have 500 000 followers, versus the 3000 that i currently have, definitely. Still, the shares they do will only appear in their followers' feed. But not many buyers shop from their feed, right...

nademaj @kathys2ndcloset So yes, virtual assistants usually log into your account, which they assist you with, right? It's kinda like being the boss of a big company. Your employees will have access to sensitive information: critical client info, access to the company financial info, etc. You can't truly expand a business just by yourself.

I understand this 100%, which is why i'm open to talk on video calls and to share my details as well. Don't rush into anything you don't feel comfortable with, think it through, and let me know if you want to arrange a video call to talk a bit more about it :)

And i can't imagine having to do all the packaging, shipping, and then buying more to keep the shop alive, taking nice photographs, answering all sorts of questions about materials and measurements and everything, etc. I admire you guys!!
