tneph @kfort1028 I will def keep on the lookout for you- I used to have it in both a medium and large. It runs small... so I ended up selling the medium last year. Such a gorgeous top. I still have it in a large and have been debating back and forth whether I want to sell it yet- I will definitely let you know when I finally decide to let it go! I think the next piece I am parting with will be the white Isabel Marant Harriet dress from Freed. Have you had luck with the burgundy Kooples dress yet?

I have yet to find the elusive burgundy Kooples dress. I have it in black, but it sounds like we are not alone in our search. Perhaps someday we will find it! I have been very lucky with quite a few other pieces, though. I do have the Isabel Marant piece you mentioned and it is lovely. 😁It’s so nice to find a fellow collector who understands!

tneph @kfort1028 I don’t think it was which is why I messaged you quickly to make sure it wasn’t you- mine actually has the brand label attached. It’s very similar and same material, but definitely not the same dress. Go to coolspotters.com and type in Eight Sixty Floral tank dress- it will pop up who is seen wearing it in which movie and you will see Dakota Johnson pop up- click on her and you will see what I mean... that’s the dress that I have.

shoegirl_67 @tneph I looked at it on coolspotters. Hmmm... it does look a bit different than the one that sold, even though the SA one didn’t have or use the belt. Hard to tell, though. That’s a lot of money to spend if it doesn’t have a definite tag to identify it. I sure hope it works out for the buyer!

shoegirl_67 @tneph Looking at the photos on the blog post, the dress shown looks quite different than the one from the film. I know lighting comes into play, but the pattern of the material seems different. In other photos I’ve seen comparing stills from the film and the Eight Sixty dress, they look a lot more similar. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It sure seems like everyone is saying it is the Eight Sixty dress, and since that is what you have, it sounds like you might have the right one. It’s kind of like the Derek Lam/ A.L.C. debate. Derek Lam is claiming it is theirs, but still a lot of people don’t agree. I hope this dress can make you some cash. It sounds like people are out there looking.....

shoegirl_67 @tneph It is a beauty! I do have it in a 6. I’ll keep my eyes out for you, but just so you know the fit is pretty slim. It has a tiny bit of stretch to it, though. I am a true size 6 petite and it works for me, but probably not after a big meal! 😂

shoegirl_67 @tneph I don’t know the designer of the black dress, but I’d love to find out. It looks like an Alaia or maybe an Issa, but you can’t be sure. I have the Sandro in a 38, but not the APC. I bought a Ralph Lauren coat that looks almost identical, so I’m just waiting to see if the real thing pops up. No luck on the blue sweater either. 🤷🏻‍♀️.

tneph @kfort1028 I am going to be posting a teal dress I had custom made for me to look like the one from the movie as well as the hooded APC I have that is very similar to the one in the movie with the difference being in the buttons and pockets (my buttons snap and there are no flaps on the pockets). Both are absolutely gorgeous but too snug in my always ever so bothersome chest area. I will let you know when they’re up and share them with you in case you are interested!

tneph @kfort1028 trust me, it will fit you- it fit me perfectly everywhere but in the chest which made it look awkward on me and made the zipper bunch up- otherwise it was just fine. There is tons of stretch
