No particular reason except that I didn’t/don’t see a lot of results from the offers typically. It’s good to know it means something. I’m hard-core. When I want a piece, I bundle it and usually ask for their best discount with reduced shipping. (I get ignored sometimes...) 🤨

I just assumed everyone was active. There is still this weird Hawaiian dress I want and I hit her up every so often to no avail. Just a bummer when I have to cancel something.

vtgcovergirl @lesliesciarappa You can tap on someone’s profile and see how long it’s been since they were active on this app. I find this helpful. I use another one and if they’re not active or decide to cancel it takes TEN days to get your money back. I had four cancellations last month... 😳🤨🤨🤨

Well if Poshmark is giving you a month that she was last active you could send her a message and ask her if she plans on returning. 🤨😆 Some of these guys won’t have said date, so you know it’s probably been a while. My friend has tried to get Posh to terminate old accounts like that, but they refuse/ignore the requests. It’s potential money (of course) in their minds... To me it’s INCREDIBLY frustrating! Good luck with it! 😆

lesliesciarappa @riglem65 Yes I hit Hawaiian dress chick up and the one with the cute elephant shirt that next time you’re active let’s revisit these items. Radio silence. I also asked other sellers questions regarding side zippers because some of the Kurtis need them. Nothing. I guess coming into this I thought everyone was somewhat active.

There’s a girl on another app who said she doesn’t mind doing holds, so I send her this long message about four of her pieces that I wanted to purchase on my next payday. I know she’s active because she’s sending offers through but on my message nothing. Crickets chirping. Finally I asked again about the ONE I really wanted most. Hopefully she is holding that one..

lesliesciarappa @riglem65 Just got pale sea green area rug and toss pillows to match she upgraded. Also a mushroom color small linen press. And what I refer to as a snake charmer covered basket for all device cords. My mum finally relinquished the big sea shell I loved as a kid.

lesliesciarappa @riglem65 Maybe 7inches across its round and lid comes to sort of a point with a bow type closure. That wasn’t offered I was over and said I love it can I ? Sometimes she will offer up a piece but if it is a “brown” aka unpainted/stained I turn it down.

lesliesciarappa @riglem65 Yes it most definitely is. A dark greenish patina weighs a ton. I googled fish fountain spitter and it was very expensive. I positioned so it’s the first thing you see when you come in the house.

lesliesciarappa @riglem65 So I do have an armoire in my room. The little linen press is by the front door it’s 33inches keep a lamp and the prized shell on it. Weirdly it houses soda beer water juice. It’s a tiny pantry.

vtgcovergirl @lesliesciarappa Sounds adorable! The bones of mine were built in the late 1800’s. It was originally a two room log cabin. It was remodeled in the late 40’s and that’s when the plumbing, small closets, extra bedrooms and hallway were added... I won’t complain because I LOVE it here. It’s my great grandfather’s land and I’d probably fill the closets up with stuff I don’t need anyway... 😝

My sister house was an old Finnish pig farm it even has a two story piggery which is her art studio the troughs are still there on the ground floor and I think it still smells of pigs. But it’s not farm land it’s located on the old main st known as Captain’s Row because it was where all the sea captains lived. I live up the street from the old Custom House. My property was part of the country work farm.

lesliesciarappa @riglem65 Just a hobby and she set up a little corner for my tiny niece her granddaughter with her own easel. She mostly works in oils. I am still waiting for her to finish my painting of a 17th century staircase.

I try and throw something out if I bring something substantial in. Buy one toss one. Plus I follow minimalists who encourage to get rid of one thing a day.

I have one in a shadowbox and another that probably belongs in one. There aren’t as many as you might think. I did collect for many years (“Hello Captain Obvious!”) 😆 I’m disabled now though and stumbled across posh completely by accident. It seemed like the perfect thing for me....

lesliesciarappa @riglem65 No I certainly don’t work on weekends those days are over. I work midweek but it’s been crazy busy all summer. Did beach Friday. Today was dedicated to cutting up all the debris from tornado got a nice pile for burning. Hanging with my niece tomorrow. Staying down my way Hyannis traffic is a horror show on weekend.
