nami001 @lorena_2016 Essentially this apps gives you the ability to sell things from your closet that you no longer need. If you look at a closet most are selling their fashion items. As a buyer you can find great deals on items that are either brand new or gently used. There's more info in the FAQs of Poshmark & do follow @official_forum for more info.

nami001 @lorena_2016 There's also a Facebook where Posh streams live on Tuesdays I believe ok how to use Posh and what it's about. It's called Posh 101 I think. Some Posh etiquette: don't negotiate with the seller in the comments, she'll always direct you to the offer button. When submitting an offer a good gauge is to go around 10% if the asking price. nami001 @lorena_2016 One more thing, I suggest just checking out other closets and see what they're selling etc. This app is great for clearing out your closet but it's also great for finding brand name items at a discount price. nami001 @lorena_2016 I guess it's similar to Craig's list. I'm not familiar with the other site. As for shipping, the buyer pays a flat rate of $5.95 for priority mail which gets to you with in a few days. When a seller ships, you'll receive tracking info. The seller won't get paid until you've received your item and you let Posh know everything is as described. There's an accept button after you purchased.

nami001 When you click on that, you're letting Posh know you've received the item and everything is in order. In the rare case where it's not as described, you can report a problem and posh won't release the money to the seller. You'll have to submit pictures showing where the item wasn't as described. Always read the description and ask questions when there's not a lot of info. Ask for additional pics but only do this of your serious about buying. It takes a lot of time and effort to create listings.

nami001 Posh takes 20% off of the transaction. So if something is for sale for $100, the seller only makes $80. So keep this in mind when submitting an offer. Lots of new Poshers submit offers that are more than 50% off of the listing price when the item has already been discounted. Most sellers won't respond to lowball offers and chose to block closets that do. Read FAQs to Posh here on the app for lots of helpful info. How this helps. Aloha xoxo

nami001 @lorena_2016 Haha, just realized I didn't answer your shipping question. When you make a purchase. Posh sends a prepaid shilling label to the seller with your name and address. She prints it out and sends you your item via priority mail. Sellers send within a day or two. Some take longer. After 7 days if your item has been sent you can cancel the transaction. You'll be notified when the package ships too. Aloha xoxo

nami001 @lorena_2016 You're so welcome! It's always my pleasure to help. Before making a purchase I always advise to read the sellers feedback. You can check it out by clicking on their "about" and read their "love notes" however you can always read their "sold item" comments to see how fast they ship or if there has been any issues in the past. A good indicator of a great seller is thoughtful cover shots and detailed descriptions & photos.

nami001 Also if a seller tells you they can sell it cheaper to you on another website or thru another payment option, don't do it. It's against Posh policy and also you won't be protected if something goes wrong. Be careful of replicas too. If I think of anything else I'll be back haha. Have a lovely day xoxo

nami001 I have a help listing at the to of my closet. It lists things that can and can't be sold here. Don't buy things that can't be sold especially used make up. It's unsanitary lol. Ok will be back....
