louisesotnick @stephsgr8stuff I was born in England and Louise is a very popular name. I've always hated it. when I was in high school, I came from London to Chicago and I could have easily changed my name because nobody knew me. I didn't think about it until I had been in Chicago for a while and it was too late. my sister's name is Alison and my brother is Julian. the worst name ever was my mom' s name 'Mavis' that's worse than Louise. good for you changing your name. I'm too old now lol

stephsgr8stuff @louisesotnick lololol!!!! You’re right on your mother’s name! Yes, I hated being Louisa, too. I’ve only recently appreciated it. People called me Weezy and Louigy and sang Pop goes Louisa instead of “pop goes the weasel’. We changed it at the end of elementary school when we moved from CA to NY. I’m sorry you don’t like your name. I do get it, though!!! I really do, lol💕💕💕

louisesotnick @stephsgr8stuff. you did the right thing. all I know was I was identified as Louise the girl from England. I've never met another Louise in Chicago lol I didn't get teased except in England the word loo means toilet or bathroom. my family called me loolabell.not sure why. I only had one friend that still calls me wheeze and I hate it. lol
