mjgluck27 @mazyodc I'm very familiar with Holy Name Hospital as well, particularly the emergency room. I graduated from THS in 1963 and got married in Fair Lawn in 1967. My longest term and best friend was born in Fair Lawn, went to school there and married there. We met in Baltimore at Johns Hopkins at age 17, and still see each other frequently and talk about "old days." I wish you good health and not too many more trips to Holy Name. Take care and be well. mjgluck27 @kathayden79 So kind of you to ask. I have a brother, never married, who lives in Groton CT. He was a surgeon in the Navy but got MS during his service and is now very disabled. It's been a huge challenge getting an aide for him. So many people have left that profession lately. The other day he called at 2am to tell me he fell and couldn't get up. He was afraid to let anyone in while he was alone. So I drove 10 hours to help him. Still no aide, but I'm home.

mjgluck27 @cgoldburg Aww!! Benny is so sweet. He was a rescue, as was his sister, Chloe. Shortly after Chloe passed away, someone left Benny at the vet's office. They called me, and the rest is history. I thought there could never be a Shih Tzu as sweet as Chloe. I was wrong; Benny is a real love bug. I live in Baltimore MD. Come by for a squeeze, snuggle, and belly rub. Benny can spend the entire day just getting and giving love. By the way, thanks for your offer on the watch. I just purchased it. Marge

mjgluck27 @cgoldburg I got Chloe when she was 10 from a senior dog rescue. She lived until 16 and died of liver cancer. Benny was 8 when he came to live here. He was puppy mill bred. The vet is not sure how many homes he's had. He's got some health issues and recently turned 10. I a small family and all are out of town, so Benny really is my baby for now. You never know who you'll find waiting for you one day. Benny and I will look forward to that visit. Be well and stay safe. Marge

luvmee40 @mjgluck27 I did find out tonight he needs his main aorta replaced immediately. They are using a pag aorta and 4 other bypasses. He was born with a congenital heart defect and did not know it. He appeared super healthy but I knew his family overloaded him with stress and still are. They are blaming me. Nothing new. At least now we know. He has to do a lung endurance test and then they are ready. The team has been picked. Scary. Please keep 🙏 thank you 🙏

mjgluck27 @aborkowski Thank you so much. Benny was abandoned at the vet when he was 8 years old. He was from a puppy mill and had had several owners, each of who passed him on to someone else. I'm so lucky he's come to me and he's here to stay. He's 10 now and just the sweetest, fluffiest ball of love. I understand your love of your Peke. My BFF has one and he's a lover too. aborkowski @mjgluck27 oh my God that is just horrible Iron Man Coon that we have came to us have to anyways have dead on our driveway somebody cut off his tail and chopped off his ear we didn't know he was a man Coon at the time because they kind of look like a crackhead LOL but after about six seven months has loving vet bills and lots and lots of food he turned into a a man Coon that breaks my heart when I hear about animals being mistreated like that

mjgluck27 @luvmee40 Hi, again. I'm going to tell you about my 50th birthday year. I was married to my ex for 30 years at that point and had 3 sons with him. I got diagnosed with bi-lateral breast cancer and thyroid cancer. I had bi-lateral mastectomies and the thyroid removed, chemo and radiation. He, a surgeon, told me to get a lawyer and moved in with his much younger girlfriend, a nurse. Stupid man, common story, not even interesting. (continued in next post)

mjgluck27 I was devastated but soon found out from friends that he had been cheating from almost the moment we married. A lot of therapy later I realized this wasn't my fault. (He wouldn't go to therapy.) I've had more cancer to deal with over the years and discovered that was easier than being with him. My boys have always been a great, loving support. I have great friends who dragged me through the worst. Work was a blessing. I've found peace and joy in life. Still single and loving it. (TBC)

mjgluck27 He's remarried to one of the women, not the one he left for. She's a cheater too. Way younger too. Great match. I had hoped at one point we would be able to get through the mess and grow old together. He wasn't interested at all. Years have passed and I'm very happy. My children and my friends are the gifts I've received, also my health. I don't know if this helps, but it's my story of survival. I'm available if you want to talk. Marge

mjgluck27 @luvmee40 You are the loving, generous, caring and giving one. Someone once told me that I should never make life altering decisions in the middle of a crisis. She said to wait at least a year before doing anything radical. It's worked for me. You have so much on your plate now. I guess you both need to get through the health crisis first and see what happens next. Please take care of yourself too. This is the wake up call for David. Stay strong and be well.

mjgluck27 @luvmee40 Hi Donna, How do you ever start over? I'm 75 and had to do it years ago. He never even told his family, or he accused me of cheating. He told our children not to listen to me as I was crazy. I was/am so lucky to have incredible married friends who just called, checked in, took me to the movies, out to dinner, to lectures, etc. I focused on raising my three sons and on my job. When his cousins found out what he had done, they included me in family events, not him.

His family hated me because I wasn’t born Jewish even though I converted. I now understand culture and intermarriage. I will live through it. I want his surgery to be over then I can breathe. mjgluck27 Hi again, I don't think I started over. I just continued to live my life. I did date a man, someone with whom I grew up, who heard about the divorce. He lived in another state and told me he was divorced too. I dated him for 3 years before I found out he was still married. I kicked him out of my life immediately! In just living I met new friends, traveled with friends, and planned 3 weddings for my sons and their wonderful wives. Now I have 4 grandchildren.

So there is no such thing as a 1940's Vintage Aurora Borealis necklace. Anyway, I'm sure it's till pretty, just thought you might like to know. I think this seller is selling a LOT of fake items misrepresented as "genuine".

Most of these stones that are inexpensive are treated by heat and fillers, often glass, to make them look prettier. Any good ruby would cost as much as a real, natural, certified diamond. He's a puppy mill baby who has been abandoned by several owners due to health issues. When he was 8 his owners took him to the vet and never came back for him. My previous puppy, Chloe, had passed away around that time. She was 14. The vet called me about Benny and he's now 10 and the best and sweetest dog ever. Chloe sent him.

mjgluck27 The truth is that gorgeous ring is too big for me as well. I found ring sizers that look like plastic spirals. They come in assorted thicknesses, are comfortable, and work great making rings fit without turning on your finger. If they don't work with this ring, I'll have it resized. My jeweler is good and charges fairly. This ring is too pretty to end up in a drawer. It will be worn often. Happiest Holidays. Marge

I adopted him when he was 8 and abandoned at my vet's office. He's almost 11 now and the sweetest, most loving furball ever. I love colored sapphires, tourmalines, and spinels. natsantangelo @mjgluck27 They have a very long life that breed. I rescued my shih tzu from a shelter. It was the only dog there that didn't look like it would eat my grandma. He was 8-10 and passed at age 20. We had him for about 10 years. That old man had so much life in him and was insanely stubborn. He had different barks for who he wanted when he wanted something. I have a BIG soft spot for Shih Tzu dogs.

mjgluck27 @natsantangelo I totally agree with you. My first rescue Shih Tzu, Chloe, lived to be 17 and passed away from liver cancer. Benny lifted my broken heart only a few months later. He's a joy. This will probably sound crazy, but I know he communicates in purring sounds. He copies my voice rhythm when I say, "I love you," Benny makes humming or purring sounds that sound exactly like, I love you. .
