ugamark @asimonson I will have to get back to you on this one. There are a couple of concerns, not necessarily red flags. First, I'd need to see the patch up close, though what I can see of it from a distance, so far so good. The hologram sticker inner tag, I'll need to compare against my own jackets to be sure. I'll double-check when I get home tonight. My only other concern is that one tag is crooked. You will never see that in a real CG jacket. But it could just be a crease in one of the tags.

asimonson @ugamark ya my major red flag is he is so eager to sell vs just returning the jacket for full price is a major concern. I’ll ask for more pics! Thanks for taking the time!

ugamark @asimonson You might also want to ask him to take a picture of the jacket front closed. If you Google search for Canada Goose Erickson parka, you'll notice there's reflective tape on the front right pocket but not the left. You can't see that in his pictures. Otherwise, my main concern is that from his post, he's willing to take anything, it seems, and wants to do it off Poshmark, which is always a red flag. AND he priced it *just* under $500 so he escapes Poshmark authentication.

ugamark Yeah, that's a great point -- Why not just return it for a refund? Whatever you do, don't buy it outside of Poshmark like he's wanting to do. Even if the jacket is legit (which, honestly, it kinda looks like it), you won't be protected if, say, he decides to take your money but not send the jacket. You and I will have to be the dynamic duo and get to the bottom of this!

ugamark Hey @asimonson -- I had a chance to compare this jacket with mine. A couple of things. The hologram is different on mine: They have a polar bear off-centered, whereas his has the CG logo on it. I don't know if they changed it or not. Also, if you can see that little circle in the upper left of the hologram, it contains the #s 1-9 in it, depending on how you turn the sticker. I can't tell if his has that. I checked the crooked tag and it looks like it's just creased on his.

ugamark @asimonson Because he's not shooting anything close up, it's really hard to tell, but from what I can see, it looks like the patch is legit, the quality of the jacket looks legit so far. If I had to guess, I would *probably* say it's more likely genuine than not, but his posts are severe red flags. Doesn't want to return it so that someone else can benefit? Trying to go off-site to sell it under $300 when it retails for $1,100? I dunno, something about it seems really off.

ugamark @asimonson I think you made the right call. You can see from his posts, he's really immature. I'd snap back, but I just reported him, so it'd make me look just as bad lol But I own a Hybridge Light jacket and until recently, also one of the thicker parkas -- It didn't make sense, though, since i live in Southern California (let's face it, we only buy CG for status). It's great when I wear it, especially when people 'in the know' recognize the patch. Good luck finding yours -- I'm sure you will!

ugamark @asimonson Hey, congratulations to the dynamic duo (us!) -- we got all of that guy's listings taken down. Hopefully that teaches him a lesson. FYI, to answer your question, CG's parkas will definitely keep you warm in the MN winters. I had the Langford parka and it was THICK. I mean, you put it on with the hoodie and you can't hear anything. So yes, their winters coats will definitely work for you!

ugamark 👍👍👍 Btw, poshmark is great, but you should check out other similar consignment sites, like TheRealReal, which is great bc they authenticate EVERYTHING, regardless of value, and, maybe to a lesser degree, The Vestiaire Collective, which has a much larger selection of stuff because they are international and they also authenticate everything, but it takes forever to get your stuff bc the authenticators are in Europe. Anyway, I talk too much :) Lemme know when you get something!

ugamark @724ever 👍 all good -- The hole was at one of the top corners of the front pocket, where shirts like this are probably most likely to rip if that pocket is used often. But I also only found it bc I had the shirt turned inside out in the wash. I appreciate you touching base.
