@martysms I had the new black joggers dry cleaned since they had been in storage., I steamed both pants so you'll be able to just put them on & go! Having to clean or iron something when it arrives is one of my pet peeves! I hope you enjoy! Thank you!

Martha, I'm really glad you like your pants and earrings! I am always researching things I can do to make minor adjustments for fit! I hope it's ok. I'm going to share 2 easy ways to stretch elastic to fit. 1. Wet the elastic with warm water. Then, stretch the elastic over the back of a chair. Use a spray bottle to keep the elastic damp. Keep them damp & leave them there for a couple of days.

2nd option....
Damped the waist of the pants. Lay the pants on the ironing board. Pin the waist at the width you'd like. Wet a washcloth with warm water. Lay the wash cloth over the elastic & iron with a hot iron. Let them dry pinned to the ironing board. You may have to repeat this a few times.

There is a 3rd method I use that I've never shared. I use it on shoes and clothes. But, dont allow the clothes or shoes to come in direct contact with your skin. Mix equal amounts of rubbing alcohol & warm water in a spray bottle. Damped the area you want to stretch. Then, just wear it. The running alcohol will stretch the fibers quicker than water alone. It works really good when you're trying to break in shoes. Thanks again! Mary Alice
