anxiety715 @missyrose2556 yes to secure the bubble wrap out of Curiosity cause I’ve shipped dozens like this why wouldn’t you just nicely peel the tape off ??? Then that wouldn’t have happened it’s dollar store tape it’s not like you need a knife or anything special

missyrose2556 @anxiety715 I peeled the tape off with my nail. the tape left a sticky residue. trying to get the residue off the inside of the cup is how it got scratched. & yes I soaked it in water first. & yes I used a sponge. note I have bought a tons of cups & never once has someone taped the actual cup.
