Hey! I saw your comment on the LV alma rose ballerine bag and I recently purchased that bag (just haven’t received yet) and your info concerned me. What was the date code on the one that melted for you? I’m worried I may run into the same problem. Would love any info you feel comfortable sharing.

@nic_tx wow! Ok 🤦🏼♀️ did it happen shortly after you received? Over time? And when you took to LV did they give you credit for the full amount you paid or retail or how did that work? I’m just worried it’s gonna happen to mine and since I won’t have been the first owner I am curious what to expect! Thank you SO MUCH for your help!

@bhall11 I was sooooo sad 😢 because I LOVED the bag I purchased on Poshmark and was extremely upset when I found out it was defective and they had no more Rose Poudre to replace it. I was only issued a store credit so I ended up wasting the money I spent on Posh because I had to use the store credit the same day and it was on a completely different style bag I didn’t want. I have both bags and wallets posted in my closet BTW.

@bhall11 it started happening about a month after I had it but when I received it, it already had significant melting around the D rings. I carried the handles before and the glaze smeared all over the threads and I KNEW something was seriously wrong. I had only used it a few times. I take very good care of all my bags. This bag came to me in this shape. I wonder if the seller was well aware of the glaze melting and smearing all over and didn’t disclose it.

@bhall11 LV was awesome and I will be a customer for life. It was hassle free. Just keep your receipts. They verify everything through the buyers account history. Nothing to worry about. Enjoy your bag. I hope you don’t have this issue.

@nic_tx thank you for the information! I didn’t see the bag/wallet in your closet but I’m not familiar with Rose Purdre color (i think that’s what you said in the text). Did they say what bags (color/date range etc?) it affected? I purchased the alma Pm Rose Ballerine. I’m thankful they gave you full retail value, but that’s devastating!! I’m so sorry!
